All of the swatches on Sephora.com look gorgeous! One of the reviews stated that the scent is bad (but seriously, how often can those reviews be taken into consideration when they don’t even say what the scent is? What is offensive to them may not be offensive to everyone else), so that being said, when you get the chance to do a proper review of this Christine, would you let us know about the scent please? Thanks! Shannon
Nars lipgloss do have a weird taste. I bought a couple of the original formula a while ago, the color is gorgeous but the taste was so bad I wanted to puke. What a shame….
If you don’t like the taste/ smell of a lipgloss, put a drop of peppermint or vanilla essential oil on the applicator. Problem solved.
I was wondering about this very thing! Nars’ regular glosses smell like stinky plastic and I can’t stomach wearing them. These new glosses sound so enticing though! I do hope they smell better than the original formula!
The Piree looks gorgeous! When do you think you’ll get your hands on these? I check yesterday and my Sephora doesn’t have them yet.
I’ve been looking for a long-lasting pigmented rosy pink to no avail. I have Sephora brand Rosy Glow which is an amazing color but they changed the formula and the scent is intense in a bad way.
The scent of Nars lipglosses are a deal breaker for me. To me it smells like a cross between old sour lipstick and crayons. Some weird waxy chemical smell. I keep hoping that somehow the scent will change or I will develop and immunity to it!
I am so nervous about NARS changing their glosses! I love them the way they are, and I tend to prefer doe-foot applicators over brushes… I am anxious to try these!
Nars glosses have a bad taste and smell. It’s like rubber or something. I bought a few before and took them back.
I like a lot of these colors. However, did anyone notice that these are $26 instead of the normal $24 for a NARS Lip Gloss? I can understand that these are exclusives to Sephora, but they are asking $2 more for .19 oz. of product in the Larger Than Life versus the $24 for .28 oz in a normal Lip Gloss? It just doesn’t add up to me…
That applicator looks really weirdly small.
As for the taste-smell, I’ve only ever swatched NARS products on the back of my hand in Sephora, but they don’t smell like anything from several inches away…ha ha.
Gold digger Coeur Sucre ,and Como are calling me. So pretty. IDK about this small brush thing though. I kinda feel like it would take forever to put on some gloss
I purchased this lipgloss in Piree last night at a Philly Sephora and guess what?? I didn’t experience any weird taste at all!!!! It is on the tacky side but way less than their normal line of gloss. I love love love this color but hate the new wand. Bobbi Brown just switched all of their horrible brush wands out and Nars shouldn’t have tried to perfect it… you are left with a sucky applicator which takes 3 – 4 times to get enough product out to cover you lips! Anyways, i love this gloss but am frustrated with the application. I’m pretty sensitive to smells and believe you me, this didn’t bother me at allllll.
I bought two today and absolutely love them! No scent. No taste. Lovely shine, lots of pigment, they last long, and the applicator is so much nicer – like a lip brush! The colours are more gorgeous than on the Sephora site!!
I can cover my lips easily with the initial amount on the brush, it’s the perfect amount of gloss.
