NARS Holiday 2021 Collection Swatches
For the holiday season, there are a few palettes available from
Here are swatches of the remainder of the limited edition NARS, which I have swatches of in this post. There’s a new, 16-pan eyeshadow palette along with three two mini eyeshadow palettes (they are very mini; Orgasm was previously released and reviewed, which has been relaunched in this collection as well, but it’s not shown below) and a cheek palette.
I keep looking at this blush palette, but the colors are too similar in it. The metallic shades in the 16-pan Bijoux eyeshadow palette are absolutely gorgeous!
These swatches look lovely! The dolce vita palette is so pretty and I love the name.
I like the Bijoux palette but it looks way more “fall” than “Holiday” but that’s fine for me as I much prefer earthy, autumnal shadows to bright, festive Holiday-typical ones. If this scores well, I fear I will have no choice but to buy it (in spite of Get Hot being too red for my liking).
Bijoux looks great, I think it looks very Christmas themed without being tacky. I am tempted by the High Profile cheek palette, despite already having several NARS cheek palettes with similar shades already…
Bijoux looks like it may make its way home with me, depending on your review and a few reliable YT’er’s. The cheek Palette also looks lovely for us medium thru deeper skintones!
I just picked up a NARS palette from Marshallls for $9.99 and I must say I am loving it! Its a small 6 pan and makes me really consider the Doce Vita and Laguna eye shadows.. for some reason I am out of purple eye shadow. I have bought the Pat McGrath 18 pan holiday palette which I absolutely LOVE.. however looking at these.. there is room for these colors in my eye shadow wardrobe. I am not sure about the blush. Honestly my favorite blush is my orgasm liquid… I am really almost out. I have other powder blush colors Mac & Pat McGrath.. but really like the emollient liquid.. not to be confused with the balmy cream blushes.. I don’t like the oily balmy ones.
The Bijoux palette looks interesting, but the inclusion of all the pink shades (I’m being quite repetitive here) is a bit off putting to me. I also think that some of the matte shades don’t look that great either. I can’t help but feel that Nars is trading on past glories with their Laguna palette.
The blush palette seems to be quite good, but the shades are very similar to each other though.
I’m happy to say that nothing tempts me. I think I can dupe most every eyeshadow and the blush palette only have one shade in it that I like for my skin tone.
Of course, I reserve the right to change my mind after the reviews are in. 🙂
