i have to agree with you there. NARS always has such exotic/provocative names that “sex appeal” seems kind of bland for him.

i’ll end of getting it anyway just because i love the shade and it reminds me of a powder version of enchanted but i would have preferred a cooler name.

I got all excited that they named the trio Okinawa, clearly I need it since I live on Okinawa…but blue and silver just don’t do it for me. Bummer!

Oooh Nars, just when I thought I was losing interest in you! I am definitely checking out the gold single eyeshadow and the new blush! So impressed with the holiday collections this year. 😀

Ooooh <3 I really like the fact that NARS comes out with only 4 collections a year with pretty much all new, permanent products. To me, its make the products a bit more special in a way. If that makes sense lol

I cant wait to see your reviews of these products Christine =] Petit Monstre lipstick looks really pretty.

It makes senses & I totally agree. I dislike if a brand comes out with so many collections. It is too overwhelming and I lose interest real quick. After awhile, the shades kind of start to look the same. It really gets old if the brand doesn’t introduce anything new either – I’m not talking about a new color but an actual new item/product.

I’m attracted to the nude lipstick and blush the most from this collection.

This collection just rubs me the wrong way for some reason. Brown and purple are normally i color combo I really love, but in cosmetics I’m not so sure. Maybe its just me thought because these colors would make my coloring look very sickly.

When will this actually BE at Sephora stores? I went yesterday and the SA was clueless. They had the Midsummer set, but still had out all of the fall collection. She said “they have no idea when they will ever get anything”! Thanks for the help!

I can’t wait to see this in person and resisting getting it online if it comes to the store soon!

he okinawa trio eyeshadow is a copy of the trio mineralize shadow from the mac hang loose collection i think was called togetherness? but yeah exactly the same color, nothing new or innovative, really boring what nars is doing never really been a big fan of their product, the only thing i got from them was the orgasm blush but dont really like it coz too much shimmer in it…. for highlight and to give a bit of glow to my cheeks i definitly count on my mineralize skinfinish by candlelight, so beautiful!

I’m not sure why but nothing about NARS appeals to me (apart from Sheer Glow). It seems so popular and I feel like i’m missing out but everytime I go to Sephora and swatch their products, all I see is a bunch of glitter and shimmer. It just seems sooo over the top!

This is just a rant – sorry, but I really need to vent. I went to Nordstrom tonight & talked to the SA to find out when they expect to receive it. I also specifically asked about Sex Appeal. She gave me such a confused look and had no clue. She thought I was talking about a lipgloss and didn’t hear anything about a new blush coming out. Wow… All she could tell me was sometime late November – which I believe is not true. The scary part was that she was the NARS Manager!! How can you be a manager and not even keep with a simple small collection?? Seriously?!!! 😐

My NARS counter always feels like the LAST counter to get product in. Seriously. It’ll come out in October, but my counter might not have it until mid or late November!

ugh, that is so frustrating! The Nordstrom I go to is supposed to be one that gets a lot of exclusive items first or rather quickly but I guess not with every brand 🙁
