I really like the colour story of the eyeshadow palette. It might be nothing new, but it’s very well put together. I’m sure I have dupes already though. I might pick up that blush duo if it performs well though.

There’s nothing here that interests me. Peach and amber on my face – nope! The e/s palette – not calling my name. Sad that it’s not more exciting but it’s not.

To Helena – I’m so ready for this year to be OVER that for once, I don’t mind the prospect of Spring coming even before Xmas. My neighbour and dear friend had a heart attack a few weeks ago. Now she’s fallen and dislocated her shoulder and possibly fractured a bone as well. She and I were talking about how ready we are to see the END of 2020! Last year, I purchased Dior’s “Celebrate in Gold” 5-pan and every time I use it, that “Happy 2020” message on the surface really seems to be mocking me (and all of us, world-wide!)

Same here! I never really let myself get sucked in by the packaging, but this is really stylish. And the colours are things I would wear. I might treat myself to one of those lipsticks. 🙂

Huh. I see 3 Audacious lipsticks listed but the promo pic has 4 in black packaging and then 3 Sheer Matte but the promo pic has 6 in red packaging.

Looks real cute though.

There are four Audacious shades & six Audacious Sheer Matte shades available on the NARS website, but only three of each are available at Sephora.

The lipstick packaging is special enough that if these rate well, I might treat myself to a lipstick in anticipation for the day when I can take my mask off (soon, soon I hope)! I know I’m on a low-buy, but darn it I ended up binning the majority of my lipsticks in my last declutter and I have such a weakness for a good lipstick.

I’ll have to see how these rate, hopefully favorably because I’m a magpie and I’m attracted to pretty packaging! 🙂

Nars is my sentimental weakness. Esp cheeks and lips. Esp Audacious! Eyes, not so much, and not just because they’re so iffy. Complexion, no way, even RCC. And I need a spare room for concealers…. So, the one dupe rule will prevail! If I have even 1 dupe @80 or above, decline. Most of my favored shades are way overduped, so there’s hope. This whole spring looks pretty cohesive, and I hope it performs well.

This whole collection does look pretty good, especially the lipsticks – which makes a nice change from all the lip glosses/creams we have seen lately. I like the shades in the eye palette, although the matte ones are not for me – but the colour story is pretty.
The lipsticks Lea and Claudette look promising.

It’s taking all my willpower not to stress-buy several of the lipsticks, but I will wait for swatches and to see if I have dupes! The packaging is really cute and I could use a splurge.

Despite having everything Pat McGrath, Charlotte Tilbury, Natasha Denona, Nars, etc., puts out, I buy it on impulse on release, and this was no exception.

My cool-toned porcelain skin has has been trying to find the coolest shades in every pricey palette that stacks up on top of the massive pile of warm-toned palettes.

A funny thing happened, though. I met a friend for coffee and just happened to pull out one of my Charlotte Tilbury quads and my friend just kept raving about my eyes being the most beautiful ever seen.

Maybe it’s okay to embrace some warm palettes, after such embarrassing praise. I’m looking forward to its arrival.
