Glad they brought back Coeur Battant. Great bold shade. I might be up for Savage, Dominate, or Behave. Wish these were in a palette. ($). Nars blush is my real weakness.
Yup, those would be my top three picks.
Behave looks like a shade I’d love, but I have enough blush for a lifetime right now and I am going on a no-buy for the new year*, so it’s a pass.
* However, I may pick up MAC Ruby Woo lipstick in that gorgeous new packaging when it’s released this spring.
Love Nars blushes. They give me the most natural flush no matter the color. I’m definitely looking forward to your reviews.
I’ll gladly wait for actual swatches of these before I render an opinion on any of them. I am loving the description of Behave, though!
I love Nars blushes and the new shade Illicit might be my next purchase from Nars. Love the peachy nudes.
Dominate looks like it might be a beauty
Behave and Zen look lovely.
I’m interested in Behave, and maybe Dominate if can be made to go on light enough. Coeur Battant is so gorgeous! Way too pigmented for me, but gorgeous.
It’s fab on my darker toned friends.
I’ll bet it stunning on them!
I already own Gaiety, which appears to be identical to Thrill. All others look too sparkly, too dark, or too brown for me.
Swore I was done buying any makeup after my manic blitz during November and December but I just squeezed in a last minute NARS Pro purchase to grab 4 of these. Behave, Tempted, Zen, and Savage. Wanted Illicit but it was sold out. I had forgot how much I love their blush until I recently started using some of the ones I have in my stash again.
Did they actually name a “shimmering red brown” blush “Savage”? Can we please rename it? I propose “SERIOUSLY WTF”
My eyebrow was raised at that one. I don’t like tan skin being associated with something more “savage,” especially here when it’s a reddish brown. Reminds me of the Dior Sauvage perfume campaign this past fall. If NARS is trying to use it in a modern, slang way to mean “bad ass,” it would have been better to associate it with a different shade… Like how Urban Decay has a bright fuchsia lipstick shade called “Savage.” Too bad, it’s a beautiful shade!
As to the other blushes, can’t wait to see how they swatch. Some really pretty updates to the NARS blush family.
Ah so excited for new NARS blushes! Beauty News mentioned they were releasing some for spring and I was so curious to see what they would come up with. ? The ones I am eyeing are Behave and Illicit based on the current photos.
Although I must say a part of me wished they would have released some other DC:ed blushes such as Gilda and Douceur (never got around to trying Douceur out :/). Perhaps one day!
Well, they brought back Coeur Battant, so we can hope. Also sorry I missed Douceur and never scored Gilda (Rita Hayworth, uh…) which I prefer to the Gina they continued.
Douceur was initially LE, but was brought back, then DC’d once again. It was available as a “pro pan”, but I’m not sure if that’s still available, though. It’s my Holiest of Grails, and I bought a backup, plus 3 pro pans… Needless to say, for as long as a NARS blush lasts, I intend to never be without Douceur… Even with all the “dupes”, most of which I also own, none can compare; as “basic” as it may seem, it’s truly unique.
I was thinking when I saw the title that there was going to be some new billionth variation of Orgasm… and I was right.
Yayy for coeur battant come back !! I’m eyeing Orgasm X it seems a deeper version of the original but for deeper skin. Aroused and Savage look lovely too.
I really loved the look of Cœur Battant back when it was first released. I got a cheaper alternative instead back then, but nice to have it back.
Savage looks really good I can’t wait to see the swatches. I bought Couer battant the first go around. I still love it and wore it last week. It’s such a great blush.
Goodness! When will they have all of them in stock! I am getting impatient with the Nars Exclusives. And are they going to keep them permanent? Will they be at other retailers eventually? What a tease to see them and not know if I will have them in my drawer! Breaks my heart.
I wonder if Zen will be exactly like the original… Unfortunately, it’s a NARS exclusive, so it’ll be difficult to search, so I’ll likely be buying it blindly. Even if it is the same, at least it’s a shade I do enjoy, and can get alot of use from, so it won’t be a complete waste… I really should pull it out again; I’ve been trying to pan a few other blushes, so NARS has been pushed aside, but I really do miss them. Besides, I just picked up Behave, and have my eye on a few others…
Hey Amy, just wanted to let you know I just saw Zen at Macy’s.
Perhaps worth noting that these are all available at Macy’s. I just saw them in New Arrivals. (I think they might’ve been missing one but it’s not the “NARS exclusive” “Zen”.)
