MyTemptalia | Submit a Look Updates
MyTemptalia | Submit a Look
We’ve just completed an update on how readers can share their looks (makeup, hair, or nails!) with the rest of the community! You’ll need to be a registered user to share your looks, but we are hoping that the updated version is more streamlined, intuitive and easier to use, while providing a better reading experience to those browsing looks. I’m personally making a concerted effort to add my “looks” of products that I tested, so they aren’t just residing deep within a review post. I hope you’re consider sharing your beautiful looks with the community!
Features/Updates:
- Breakdown into distinct steps
- Select your featured photo/rotate photos
- Error messages if a required field/step is missed
- Full text editor
- Streamlined tags
- Added product search to include specific products used in a look
- Tooltips for colors
- Embed your YouTube tutorial
- Added text editor to write out text tutorial (optional)
- Preview submitted look
- All descriptions/information about the look now in the content pane
We’ll be tackling expanding the wish list and vanity features in the upcoming weeks–we are striving to make massive improvements to the user and community aspects of the site as our next focus. We will be working on incorporating our product search across both features, along with better “bulk” adding, sorting capabilities, printable versions, searching within your lists, notes, prioritization, updated user interface, and more.
P.S. — We’ll be clarifying that the last step is optional by adding “optional” (always miss something!) shortly!
This sounds absolutely wonderful and much more user friendly! Especially for those of us out here who are not technology inclined, like me, LoL!?
Here’s hoping 🙂
OMG – all of you are amazing! This is just so stunning!
Thank you!
Very interesting, bravo Temptalia!
Thank you!
I am embarrassed to say I haven’t figured out how to like a look.
I believe you have to be registered (possibly not, I’m not 100% sure what we did for that when it was created), but you’d just click the heart/love button 🙂
