Most Hydrating Lipstick Formula

What's the Most Hydrating Lipstick Formula that you've tried?

Guerlain Rouge Gs are still my all-time, most hydrating formula! Bite’s discontinued Luminous Creme formula was definitely in the running there.

I have very dry lips so I am always looking for hydrating lipstick formulas. I haven’t tried these, I will definitely add a few to my list. I found that H&M’s lipsticks are amazingly hydrating surprisingly enough. Also I have a few Kiko lipsticks that are moisturizing too.

I’m a fan of sheer lipsticks and most sheer formulas are hydrating. The formula I love for hydration is NARS sheer lipsticks. They also smell like freshly brewed green tea, to me at least.

Neutrogena’s lip crayons. Unfortunately, they have an awful fragrance (weird chemical-y fake tropical fruit) and the color transfers. One sip of your coffee and it’s gone. It’s a shame because the line has a lot of great office-friendly neutrals.

I am not a big fan of hydrating lippies because of the bleeding but I like Revlon Lip Butters – Pink Truffle is a great universal shae.

Probably Revlon’s Balm Stain crayons. Usually I find those balmy type lip products to be, ironically, drying… but these crayons I really like and they do stain pretty well.

Recently for me it’s the Burberry Full Kisses lipstick formula…so comfortable to wear, beautiful pigmentation and no lip balm required prior

All the Chantecaille ‘Lip Chic’ are wonderfully hydrating…like a balm with fantastic colors. Also, Armani sheer lip colors.

Agree on Chantecaille’s lip chic and Armani’s Rouge Sheer and Rouge D’Armani formula. I would also add Cke de Peau lipsticks and lip luminizers (the long skinny ones) to the list.

Hard to say because I always use a balm under my lipstick because my lips Are sooo dry. The First Which comes into my mind Are Mac huggable lipsticks and Mac mineralize Rich lipsticks.

Revlon Moisturous Lipcolor comes to mind. The colors were beautiful and the formula very moisturizing. I hate that Revlon discontinued this lipstick.

THE MOST hydrating thing I’ve used is Sephora’s lip oils. They add some color and really make my lips feel smooth. I also got the Hourglass lip oil in Icon, and I love that, too. I think they now have it in just a clear gloss and I’m tempted to splurge on that, too.

The NARS sheer ones are quite hydrating. The Fresh balms are super hydrating but not technically lipstick. I don’t find the Marc Jacobs ones drying so they’re pretty good as well. And yup, Bite’s previous iterating of lipstick was super hydrating, though I’ve yet to try the newer ones.

My lips are dry and easily irritated and so it’s not just a question of hydration but also about being non-irritating. For me the end all be all is Guerlain Rouge G. I can wear it all day long without the need for balms and my lips always feel smooth and soft at the end of the day.

I just bought one of YSL’s Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-in-Sticks and it’s so silky! Love it.

BTW, I really miss Bite’s old formula lipsticks. The new ones feel a little drier and the colors aren’t as good (for my coloring, anyway.)

I’d say Clinique Color Pop lipstick is the most balmy and conditioning out of those I tried. Lancôme Lip Lover glosses are also good, NARS sheer lipstick in Cruising that I have also takes great care of my lips. MAC creamsheen formula lipsticks are also fantastic 🙂

I have super dry lips. As far as lipsticks go, I love the Armani Rouge Ecstacy, and their Ecstacy Lacquer. Revlon lip butters are pretty good too, but the color doesn’t last as long.
