More Browns with Dior Rosy Tan

More Browns with Dior Rosy Tan

This is a look testing out Dior’s Rosy Tan Eyeshadow Palette, along with Make Up For Ever’s new Uplights in #22 and Guerlain’s #02 Terracotta bronzer.

You will need the following…

For eyes, start by applying NYX as your eyeshadow base all over the eye area with the 294.  Apply the taupe brown eyeshadow to the lower half of the eyelid with the 239.  Next, apply the grayish brown eyeshadow to the upper half of the lid and in the crease with the 239.  Lightly blend the dark brown eyeshadow into the crease with the 222, blending outwards.  Pat the shimmering white eyeshadow lightly above the inner tearduct.  highlight the brow bone with Trench eyeshadow using the 217.  Apply Perversion liner on the lower lash line.  Finish by sweeping lashes with Film Noir mascara.

For cheeks, apply #02 Terracotta below the apples of the cheeks and sweep towards the temple with the 184. Lightly pat on #22 on cheekbones to highlight.

For lips, apply Giny lipstick first, then top with Papaya Creme lipgloss for a complementing lip.

What’s your take on this particular eyeshadow palette, Christine? I’ve been hounding the Dior saleslady lately wondering when it will hit counters, but there’s no point if the shadows are iffy.

I adore this look! THE best neutral look I have seen, hands down! I am going to have to get that quad just for that look! Your lashes look great, at first I thought you were wearing liner on your upper lid because they look so black and thick. Great job Christine!

Wow, you’re face looks amazing! So glowy and flawless! What do you think the glowiness is? Is it more the foundation, or the Make Up Forever highlight?

The lip combo is stunning! Do you think as a more affordable alternative you can dupe it with Nymphette and some light peachy nude — like Freckletone, maybe?

Absolutely stunning! What do you think about the Rosy Tan palette compared to Nude Rosy? Also, please please do a tutorial of the look!

pretty look! i love how that foundation looks on you…
i actually finally checked out the guerlain foundations today, and NONE of the three have a shade that matches my skin tone! they’re basically all too pink. i was pretty sad.
anyway, at least i came out with their perles though, so not all is lost 😉

Never Mind! I checked out the “Nude” look. I thought this would have more color payoff..but I still love it. I’d probably use more of the darkest shade in and above the crease for contrast. I have some pretty hooded eyes 🙂
