Milani Soft & Sultry Eyeshadow Palette ($20.00 for 0.48 oz.) is the newest in the brand’s 12-pan palette line-up. This palette includes smokier taupe and gray/black hues along with neutrals like taupe and brown. I’m working on testing the palette, but here are swatches for now!

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when
a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set
expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up
being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!
This is not quite as cool-toned as I thought it would be.

Agreed. The bottom two rows are nice, but they look like replicas of my Viseart Theory in Chorma palette. The light shades are warm. Oh well. Nice thought while it lasted!
I rarely wear dark shades, so I’m a bit disappointed by how warm the light shades look. I was really looking forward to a good drugstore palette, but this is not it.
BTW, these palettes are listed on the Milani website at $20, but on Walmart’s site they’re only $14.97.
I bought this palette a week or two ago and I’ve used it more often than any other palette I own since then. I find myself reaching for it over my four UD Naked palettes. Using a primer I feel like it performs much better than many of my mid to higher end palettes. It doesn’t outshine my Viseart Cashmere but I feel like it’s a budget friendly dupe for that.
I so hope I’m able to find this palette here – either at Walmart or Rexall/Pharmaplus, which carries Milani in Canada. Keeping my fingers very tightly crossed!

Hi Mariella! I’ve found Milani products at Loblaws also! The one by my house carries it, at least (very limited options, however). Worth checking it out though 🙂

This is a Walmart exclusive in the US. Not sure if that’s the case in Canada. I hate store specific exclusives!!
I bought this a few days ago because of it’s cool toned shades. I think the quality surpasses anything I’ve tried at the drugstore and a lot of my high end shadows. The only thing I don’t like is that the last two shades on the bottom row look identical once applied. If they had included a safe or olive green, or even a cool blue then this would be perfect. (Imo, =))
I swatched this in Walmart and was so impressed I bought it on the spot. Haven’t had a chance to try it on my eyes yet, as I’m still playing with Norvina and Colourpop/KL Zodiac, but it’s in my pile! Velvety smooth and much cooler tones than most of the palettes I’ve seen. Those darks are intense on the skin.

I was impressed too! Even more impressive – Walmart had a tester available for these two palettes!!! That’s major progress!!!!

Oh! I’m intrigued! The left column = warm, right column = cool, Untamed seems like the perfect dark brown/black/gray shade for my eyebrows and Come Hither’s duochrome has me all a-flutter. Thanks for the swatches, look forward to your review!
Even though I have Viseart Chroma Theory palette, I love this one a bit more, as it has just a bit of warmth to it. This could be a good travel palette for me….if I ever go anywhere outside of AZ again!

I recently bought the Bobbi Brown Nordstrom anniversary palette, which is beautiful and leans cool, and this one, which also leans cool, though not as much. But I would have no trouble using the Milani to travel with and would never dream of doing the same with the almost $100 Bobbi Brown. I’m still waiting for the perfect palette, which may never exist, but this is a good bet for the price, and cooler than either of the two Milani “breakthrough” palettes released earlier in the year.
I knew I shouldnt have clicked on this, knowing we wont get this within at least an hour of my town, but its stunning. ?! I’ll have to go hunting to see what I have similar in my own stash!

Looks promising. UD Naked had too much gliitery fall out for me so this could work. If it passes the Temptalia tests.

For those of us who enjoy neutral palettes this looks promising.

I agree with that bit about the last two shades. I think a taupe or charcoal would have been nice. But this is still impressive.
Wow – this looks so, so good. Love it.
