I have this in the color "Polished Purple" which is a dark matte metallic purple. I wore it for a belly dance performance the other day and I got SO MANY comments about it, in person and from my Instagram post! Everybody loved the color. It is a deep true purple. Dries down to a nice matte, non-sticky finish with a very slight metallic sheen. This was not particularly drying and there was only the smallest amount of color transfer to my tea cup. Pretty easy to apply too. I'll be wearing it a lot and will probably pick up another color or two. I just wish it was more metallic.

Moondust is one of those formulas that most people either love or hate. Personally, I love it, and I really like this palette of 8 unique colors. You have to be aware that these colors don't really wear well on their own, unless you like the sheer look. They're best applied as an accent over other colors. You can get a more intense look by using a damp brush, and in fact Lithium will actually get opaque when applied damp. I especially like the packaging for this palette, the case is made of a smooth glittery acrylic, giving you the glitter look without shedding everywhere, plus it feels pretty sturdy and has a nice magnetic closure.

This is a sheer white with rainbow iridescence. It's a very versatile color in that it looks great on the eyes, as a cheek highlight, or tapped over lipstick to add shimmer. I just wish it was a little more intensely pigmented, more in line with the other Metal Crush shadows.

I had previously dismissed the ColourPop Ultra Matte formula because the one time I wore it, it made my lips so dry that they hurt for a day or two after! But since they were giving some colors away I figured I'd try again. This time I put down a moisturizing base coat and and it's not killing my lips. And I ate a plate of pasta while wearing it and didn't lose a ton of color. Bonus! I really like this color, it's a nice orchidy shade. I think it's going to be beautiful for fall! For a little extra pizzazz add a pop of glitter or shimmery pigment to the center of the lips -- I used Urban Decay Moondust in Magnetic.

As someone who is super bored of the matte lip trend, I was really excited to see this ridiculously glittery color in the big Vice lipstick launch. I just wish it wasn't so aggressively pink! Or that some of the other metallic finish lipsticks were this glittery. I'd love to have a crazy glitter red, purple, or bronze. Over all this is a pretty good lipstick, but it could be more opaque. I suspect it would look best if you apply a pink liner to the entire lip as a base.

What's not to love about a vibrant metallic emerald green eye shadow? I really like the Metallic Crush line in general, but Iggy is my absolute favorite.

So I don't know if this color is really universally flattering like they claim, but it certainly looks great on ME! It's a great color when I want a subtle nude look, but nothing too pale. Stands up well against a dark eye look. I'm not a huge fan of matte liquid lipsticks but I find that this formula is not too hard on my already-dry lips.

This is my favorite eyeshadow palette ever, because it has a little bit of everything... Bright colors, jewel tones, pastels, neutrals, mattes, satins and shimmers... And I love how the colors are laid out! Sure, it's a bit big to travel with, but it's great to have at home. I could probably go the rest of my life with just this palette... but that doesn't stop me from continuing to buy more palettes 😉

Of the various matte liquid lipsticks that I've tried, I think this is my favorite formula. And Ayesha is one of my favorite colors! This is a more muted medium purple. I think it's a great Goth lipstick color, when you're looking for something different from a pure black or a deep red. I find it to be one of the more wearable purples out there, especially for my pale, cool-toned, freckly complexion.

This is a lovely collection of very elegant neutral satiny, shimmery colors, with a few purples mixed in as well. Although it's great to mix these colors with other palettes to create a complete look, I find that when I'm in a hurry and want to keep it simple, a light wash of any of these colors looks very nice on its own. I especially like a couple of the peachier colors (even though peach is not usually a favorite of mine) and the white gold.

This is one of my favorite colors in the world because it is a beautiful old gold metallic with gold glitter. It's elegant and sparkly and pairs great with greens, browns, blacks and probably lots of other colors too, but that's what I've worn it with. It's highly pigmented, easy to apply, wears well, and is just super pretty. The only problem is that there is a bit of fallout, and it's messy in the pan so it makes a mess of the palette. But so worth it 🙂

I am sad that this palette has finally been discontinued as it has long been my favorite neutral palette. I always recommended it over any of the UD Naked Palettes. I love the colors, the shadow is high quality, and the butterfly themed packaging is beautiful. Plus the color names are awesome! Who doesn't want to wear shadows with names like Entomology and Killing Jar?

I think if you're only going to buy one Viseart palette, this is the one to get. We all know how iffy matte shadows can be, but these mattes are amazing! There's a great range of colors here which you can combine with other palettes in your collection to create beautiful looks. No more hassling with chalky, difficult to blend matte colors. These apply beautifully, are highly pigmented, and have long wear (especially over a good primer). Palette is relatively compact and sturdy enough to travel well.

I have seen a lot of green lipsticks, and although green is my favorite color, I usually pass them up because they don't seem very wearable, especially not with my pale complexion. But Kale is surprisingly wearable, especially if you add some sort of sparkly pigment to the center to give it a little extra depth. What I love about this color is that it is a deep blackened green, so it's very sophisticated. It doesn't look cheap or Halloweeny or gimmicky. It looks dramatic! I also like the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche formula, which dries down to a satiny almost-matte finish without drying my lips out. It is a little difficult to apply this one neatly, and since it's such a dark and unusual color, any feathering or smudging really shows. Otherwise it's perfect!
