Of the two colors of the Poutsicle, I own, this one is more disappointing. Like the Sangria shade, this does have some of the drawbacks of stains vs. liquid lipsticks in that it does fade more quickly and requires more frequent touch ups if you want a deep color. I found it also can be tough to get even color when applying, even if I'm careful and methodical. While not uncommon in deep, moody shades, it's nonetheless frustrating. Without careful outer liner application this color bleeds even more than the red shade, and no matter what I do bleeds at least a little. Interestingly, I also find this shade to be more drying than the Sangria. Knowing this, I don't think I would buy this shade again or, if they release additional ones, similarly dark colors.

I prefer a lip stain over liquid lipstick, since I usually find them less drying. There are, however, some downsides to stains in terms of color opacity and duration. First, stains do just that- stain. They won't remain as opaque as when first applied. This lip stain is no different, but it settles down into a satisfyingly bright color that is still very visible on me even after a few hours. Food (primarily the oils in food) do take a good deal of it off, but otherwise this does not transfer after it's dried down. My main complaint with this item is that the color bleeds into my lip lines, even if I use other methods of preventing this from happening. A concealer outer liner helps the most, but doesn't prevent it entirely. Overall, this is a good way for me to wear bright red lips without worrying about smudging and I hope they release additional colors going forward.

I was so excited to give this color a try until I received the palette and noticed it had the "not intended for use around the eye" warning. I'm used to seeing that with glitters, and I can't stand that ColourPop keeps adding them to palettes, but I wasn't expecting it in a pigment. There are lots of warning labels on products that I tend to think are over-the-top, but I'm not going to take risks when it comes to my eyes. Guess I'll be looking for a dupe and returning this palette.

It's so light blue, that I didn't expect it to read as blue on the lid but I was wrong! It's a stunning, soft, easy-to-build baby blue that really popped on my lids. I was surprised by how pigmented it was, and it only took a few swipes to build a solid color.

Loved how easily this applied, but holy cannoli did it MOVE! It's slipped all around my lid and transferred in my crease like crazy. I have hooded lids so a little transfer is pretty common as my day goes, but this basically stamped silver all over my lid. I'll have to use pretty sparingly to avoid a repeat.

I purchased this color as a dupe for Urban Decay's Naked 2 in the Basics Palette, since I found the UD shadow creased and faded throughout the day. Stone is a better fit for me, and it makes a subtle, but effective crease color for my usual day eye look. With primer it lasted 8-9 hours on my eyelids which are both oily and hooded. After that time, it faded slightly and had a small amount of creasing, although less than I experienced with other shadows. This has become a staple color for my palette.
