While I purchased this in Spring, it will be the perfect Autumn quick and easy trio to use for every day. I almost didn't purchase this based on the less than amazing rating it received from Christine, but I am really glad to have it. All 3 shades work really well for me and I find the quality and performance to be excellent for my needs. I do need to reach for a lighter, more ivory shade for my inner lids and for brow-bone highlighting but other than that, this trio is perfect.

I bought this to be a dupe for some favourite LE shadows that I fear using up. I really enjoy the other Tarte Metallic shadows I have but am sorely disappointed in this one. It's not at all like it appears in the pan when it's applied. Rather than a pearly while shade (or even light beige), this takes on a weirdly yellow/golden tone and that's not at all what I was looking for. In terms of texture, pigmentation and creamy smooth application, Pin-Up is every bit as good as the other in this line but it's the colour itself that has disappointed me.

I was excited as can be to see this available in-store for purchase since every other PMcG palette is "online only" where I live. So purchase it I did! The texture and pigmentation of these shadows are everything I'd heard about eyeshadows from this brand. Packaging is clever too - cardboard but substantial feeling and nicely designed. My only complaint is the lack of an ivory or beige shadow (satin or sheen or even matte) that works as a highlighter and inner corner colour. That would make this a perfect palette for me. However, the shadows in this are gorgeous and the colours very well co-ordinated. Zero fallout, which is a bonus in shadows with this much sheen.

Simply gorgeous. When these first launched, they weren't available in-store in Canada but a while back, I noticed them in-store at Sephora and bought 3 shades (Shake Down, Grind and Pin Up) and I'm happy with all 3 of them. Shake Down is a gorgeous golden taupe shade....not as dark as the "golden bronze" of Temptalia's description might lead you to think. It's a really wearable colour that looks great on its own but is also very adaptable in combination with other shadows. But I love this as an all over the lid/one and done look, perhaps with something matte and a bit darker in the crease. I also love that these are packaged in such a way as to be easy to "depot" and put into a larger palette for travel or just for convenience.

I got a Sephora Points Perk of this lipstick in the shade Fuchsia-in-the-Know/#23 and it is absolutely gorgeous. The colour is a deep red-toned pink. This feels absolutely wonderful on the lips - silky and hydrating - and wear time is really good too (not always the case when a lipstick is this creamy and moist feeling). It is such a flattering colour. These are awfully pricey where I live ($41 Canadian) and not available in-store anywhere near me so I will have to order the full size on-line, something I am always reluctant to do, but I will do it for this particular colour and product.

I'm so glad I finally grabbed this (at a mere $6 Canadian) before it was discontinued entirely. Even at full price, most of Sephora's single shadows were bargains - most had wonderful quality at reasonable prices. Cookie Crunch is a beautiful golden brown shimmer. At first, I found this difficult to use - little product seemed to transfer to my brush or my eyes - but after a few uses, it improved 10-fold (I think it may have been packed down really hard during the packaging process). It is an easy and flattering colour to wear and really sparkles up my brown eyes. Really sad to see these shadows go....

I have this shadow in the original Two Faced Natural Eye Palette and it is totally UNWEARABLE because of the glitter fall-out that is totally not integrated or blended with what little base colour there is. Probably one of the worst shadows I own and it's good that they eventually replaced it with something else (even though they took a few really good shades out of that palette too).

I was so glad to be able to grab this beautiful neutral just before the "old" formula was pulled and replaced by the new - and often weaker - formula. It is pretty much as the name suggests - a khaki brown shade (a wonderful melange of olive and brown) with a flattering sheen. So nice and such a shame that its replacement isn't nearly as nice.

This eyeshadow primer is fantastic! I like it even better than Urban Decay Primer Potion which, til now, has been my "gold standard". MAC's applies more smoothly and eyeshadows apply more smoothly over it. My only complaint is the opening of the tube....I wish it were a narrow, pointed tip like UDPP or Too Faced, rather than a wider, flat opening which is messier and seems to make for more waste.

I've got 3 of the Buxom customizable palettes and Mink Magnet is a shade I purchased for my first palette. It is such a beautiful and wearable colour and the quality is first rate.

Sephora makes some darned great eyeshadows. In addition, the pans are huge and price is small. I got Fall Leaves because it's a very close dupe for a few eyeshadows I like that are Limited Edition. This shade was one of Sephora's newer releases and for some reason, they discontinued it pretty quickly. The "up side" is that you can still get these from Sephora online and they are on sale so the price is even smaller.

This is the only one of the Cover Shot palettes that interested me and I'm so glad I have it. It's almost the perfect little travel palette (a somewhat lighter beige with a bit of sheen is the only thing that's missing) because it has great neutral colours for everyday looks if you're travelling for business or family stuff but there are also a few shades - STFU and Big Night - to make more dramatic looks. I have generally shied away from red and burgundy eyeshadows as they make my eyes look irritated, but Headline is such a nice and flattering introduction to this type of shade. Slayer is a seriously wonderful crease or smoky lid shadow (I prefer it to Big Night as it's easier to wear and has no glitter) and Rock Me and Hell Ya are the sorts of colours I wear frequently, so for me, they're "must have" shades in any practical palette.

I purchased this back in October 2017, after seeing it here but not finding it in store at either Shoppers (the one with a Dior counter) or Sephora. I finally tracked it down at The Bay. It's a pretty pricey little palette and not quite as pigmented as I'd been expecting but given the 2 very dark shades (#1 and 5), that's not necessarily a bad thing. I always get results with this that look understated and elegant without having to worry. It would be a great palette to take on a business trip when you want to avoid looking too outrageous.

I was finally able to purchase this to add to my collection (my local Sephora didn't stock it for a while and then they were always out of it). What a gorgeous rich brown with lovely pearly finish, similar to Inglot's Pearl finish. I already have Truffle Glitter which I thought might be very close in colour to this but they are quite different (Truffle Glitter seems to lean more cool and almost greenish grey compared to the warmer brown of Chocolate). This is so pigmented and looks gorgeous but it blends so nicely that you don't have to worry about harsh edges or a harsh look overall.

This is a really nice change from black, which can be harsh, or my typical bronzey/brown shades. Pigmented, long wearing and really eye-enhancing. I've probably got close to a dozen different shades of Sephora's Contour Pencils and I love them all. They are such good quality (I find them far better than most of those from Urban Decay) and the price is really unbelievably good. I'm not wild about having to sharpen these but if I pop them into the freezer for 5 minutes, it's easy to do without damaging the product.

Sadly, for no reason that makes any sense, Sephora decided to discontinue this wonderful basic. I rely on Cashmere Coat to define my crease when I'm wearing a light/more natural eye look because it never looks heavy or obvious but still does a very good job of contouring. If I'm wearing a darker eye but don't want the whole eye area to look like two black sockets in my face, Cashmere Coat is, again, great for subtle definition and for blending out. The pan is huge, which means I won't have to worry about replacing this for years and years. Sephora has some really excellent shadows but the problem is that they discontinue them without any warning and they get rid of some of their best stuff while retaining shades that aren't necessarily as wearable or as well-performing, which is the case with Cashmere Coat.

I am not a fan of matte lipsticks. For the most part, I just don't like how they feel on my lips (dry and parching) or how they can look, showing up every flaw. But I got this in the shade Infrared based on the stellar reviews on MakeupAlley and I am really pleased with it. For starters, it isn't quite as drying and uncomfortable feeling as some matte lipsticks can be. It is such a glorious, flattering red that I am willing to make the effort to wear this (using a lip scrub and Bite's lip mask overnight to prep my lips). The colour is a true red with no traces of orange and while it is bright, it is very wearable. I still wear this with a bit of balm underneath both for comfort and because I like the look of a slightly more "juicy" lip. And while I wouldn't say this lipstick is moisturizing, for a matte lipstick, it IS "non-drying".

I missed out on MAC's Fresh Flare (in their very first Pro Longwear eyeshadow release) and really regretted it. Kush is a very similar colour - a beautiful clear green that is bright but still very wearable. I can tone this down for work or just for my more subdued style by pairing it with mid-toned brown shades like MAC Wedge or UD Naked or Buck and end up with a look that, for me, is a bit different and more colourful than my usual eye looks but still within my comfort zone. I have this in one of UD's larger palettes (BOS 3, maybe) so it's not the most travel friendly but that's not a big deal to me.

Such a great, must-have product. It rescues cream shadows that dry out and makes them usable again. It is a shadow transformer, allowing you to turn any eye shadow into a liner. Also, if you mix a drop with your foundation, it will make your foundation longer wearing. It's affordable and has so many uses.

The actual name of this eyeshadow is "Winter Sky in London". How evocative is that? I think the name was at least half of my reason for buying this but it's a great eyeshadow and an example of how excellent some of Sephora's eyeshadows really are. This is a beautiful shimmery dark grey but the shimmer finish keeps it from looking too dark or intense. Great pigmentation and blendability. I've had this shadow since it first launched, so probably 3 years (it's now June of 2017) but, sadly, Sephora has included this beauty in its most recent batch of shadows that are marked down and on their way to being discontinued so I would suggest getting this at the sale price while it's still available. Like all of Sephora's single shadows, it's packaged so it can be easily taken out of and even returned to its "case", making it ideal for travel since you can put it into a Z palette, move it around and then put it back into its single container over and over again.
