Very soft, creamy metallic shadows that work best with fingers though I got it to work with a flat brush as well. The mattes are very stiff and dusty though it didn't seem to affect their blending ability. It's more of a cornstarch like powder, rather than chalk, if that makes any sense. The color selection isn't very versatile and some of the pink metallic shades look extremely similar, and at this price point I don't want a one trick pony. I would only recommend this if you have other colors that could go well with the pinks and purples, otherwise you're going to be constricted to the same two looks that this color story allows for.

The colors are not true to pan but they're all very well curated and have a soft, pigmented formula. Blends very easily and the dark blues don't get muddy even if you layer them over the warm brown in this palette (or any other one, I use this with Sweet Peach all the time), which is hard to find in a blue eyeshadow. The only significant con here would be that the glitter pieces and powdery shadow get everywhere and stain pretty hard, so either do your eyes before your face or have cold cream/makeup wipes on hand. Not a dealbreaker for me so it still gets five stars.
