I have oily lids and eyeshadows start to separate easily on my lids. The Too Faced Shadow Insurance primer makes the eyeshadows look great all day and the eye liners not smudge on my hooded eyes. I don't see any effects in terms of evening out the skintone or smoothing fine lines. 12 months (recommended usage time after opening) is not enough to finish it, even if you are like me and use only one eye primer everyday. But I noticed that after 8-9 months the product starts to separate. Being a squeeze tube is more hygienic in my opinion than doe-foot primer applicators, but it's sometimes easy to squeeze more product then you need. Bottom line, this is a very good eye primer, you get a lot of usages for you money and I can see the hype around it.

MAC Party Line looks more like a sheer burgundy on me, more red than plum. I am a brunette with light-medium yellow toned complexion (NC20-25) and mauvish lips. The color is bright and has some shine, specific to MAC Cremesheen formula. It lasts only a few hours on the lips and wears off almost entirely (leaves minor to no tint on lips). The formula is very creamy, moves around and feathers into the fine lines around the mouth; since this is a darker color, this starts looking sloppy during the day if you don't wear it with care. Does not dry my lips. I like the color, but not in this formula.

Plumful looks really rose-plum on my lips, no pinky hue; definitely looks different on me than on Christine. I am a brunette with light-medium yellow toned complexion (NC20-25), with naturally mauvish lips. For me rose and plum lip products are usually my lips but better product. I really like the hue of Plumful, but I prefer other MAC finishes than Lustre. As all Lustre lipstick, it looks quite glossy on the lips. I can apply it in a sheer layer and get a very natural look; but I can also build this lipstick until I get a slightly dark plum. It does not last more than a few hours, and will be gone after a meal. It's somewhat hydrating on the lips at first, but I also feel my lips slightly dry after wearing this for a full day. On me it starts bleeding through the day, especially with reapplication; I definitely prefer MAC Matte and Satin finishes.

As a concept and formulation, this is a good product that provides a natural look to the brows. It stays on all day, adds a little tint to the brows and sets them without being too strong. The brush is too big, too long, too thick. And that messes up the whole idea of this product. I have to be very careful not to stain the skin around my brows (mine are medium, not too thick, not too thin); while it's still wet you can easily clean it with a cotton swab. But someone with fuller brows might not have this issue. The color range is now more extensive (I have the Chocolate shade).

I just love the MAC Matte lipstick formula and this color. MAC Matte lipsticks are indeed matte, but still creamy. They don't dry out my lips more than they are any given day. They last through sipping and snacking, and looks quite good after a meal (depending on the meal, off-course). I re-apply them once or twice a day, just to keep my lips look perfect. As long as I just dab product on, re-application looks great as well. You need just a tiny layer to get food pigmentation. It stains the lips, but depending on what you eat the inside of the lips will get off during the day. Diva is definitely my staple color. I'm brunette, light-medium yellow done complexion (NC20-25). Diva just looks differently on anyone; on me is a dark true burgundy (more red than brown undertones). It's dark, without looking too vampy. Personally, I could wear this any day. It has the specific MAC lipstick scent, and matte formula tends to make it linger a little more.

First of all, I prefer the MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencil better than the standard MAC lip liner. Is creamier, easier to apply and lasts a very long time on the lips. If I dislike something about it, is the fact that it sometimes sharpens poorly and the pencil plastic gets sharp edges. As for the In Control shade, I really like this color. I'm a brunette with light-medium yellow tone skin (NC20-25) and my lips have a naturally mauvish color. On me In Control is an intense, medium-dark rosy-brown (slightly more brown on my complexion, but more rosy swatched), which still manages to look somewhat natural. The finish is matte, the color is opaque and I use it all over my lips (with lip balm on top, since it's quite drying). I personally find that I can get a nice even application all over the lips with Pro Longwear lip pencils, but it will pull a little. I first bought it to wear it with Brave lipstick, but it's darker on me than Brave.
