Makeup Geek Cinderella Eyeshadow
Makeup Geek Cinderella Eyeshadow Eyeshadow ($5.99 for 0.064 oz.) is described as a “pale shimmery pink.” It’s a light-medium, peachy-beige with a frosted finish. In the pan, there is an almost pink tint, but it wasn’t visible when swatched–if you have significantly pink undertones, you might see it come through on your skin. It had good color payoff, and the texture was soft, blendable, though a smidgen powdery. It wore well for eight and a half hours without creasing or fading. Tom Ford Beauty In the Pink #2 is lighter, less warm-toned. (LE) theBalm Third Eye Blinded (P, $16.00) is lighter. NARS Nepal (P, $24.00) is similar. MAC Jete (LE, $15.00) is pinker. Estee Lauder Violet Underground #3 (LE, $21.00) is lighter. MAC Jest is a little lighter. See comparison swatches.
Cupcake Eyeshadow Eyeshadow ($5.99 for 0.064 oz.) is described as a “matte medium pink.” It’s a muted, medium pink with neutral-to-warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was soft and finely-milled, and it had so-so color payoff; it tended to sheer out when applied, so it was best applied by patting on and only blending the edges. It lasted for seven and a half hours and then showed signs of fading. NARS Douce France #2 (LE, $24.00) is lighter. MAC Endless Passion (P, $21.00) is cooler-toned. MAC Sushi Flower (P, $15.00) is darker, brighter. See comparison swatches.
Burlesque Eyeshadow Eyeshadow ($5.99 for 0.064 oz.) is described as a “deep metallic burgundy.” It’s a muted, dark maroon with warm, brown undertones and a soft, frosted finish. It had nice color payoff, and the texture was soft and blendable. It wore well for eight and a half hours without fading or creasing. Chanel Seduction #1 (LE) is lighter. theBalm Alice Copper (P, $16.00) is darker, cooler-toned. MAC Idyllic (LE, $18.00) is a cream product. MAC Cranberry (P, $15.00) is similar–slightly cooler-toned. MAC Brazenly (LE, $15.00) is darker, purpler. Inglot #452 (P, $6.00) is similar in color but more metallic. See comparison swatches.
Bitten Eyeshadow Eyeshadow ($5.99 for 0.064 oz.) is described as a “matte deep maroon red.” It’s a muted, neutral-to-warm red with a matte finish. It had good pigmentation, and though the texture was soft and easy to blend on the lid, it was powdery. Use a lighter touch to initially grab the eyeshadow, and you may want to tap off the excess, and then pat onto the lid to minimize fall out. It wore well for eight hours before showing slight signs of fading. NARS Douce France #3 (LE, $24.00) is cooler-toned, brighter. See comparison swatches.

All the shades are so pretty especially Cindrella and Burlesque.. perfect for soft pink eyes.. 🙂
I feel like these combined with the other eyeshadows you reviewed from Makeup Geek would make a great palette!
I absolutely love all of these shades, but if I had to pick one I would say that Cinderella is my favorite.
Love these! I *just* purchased Inglot 452 yesterday, so I’ll pass on Burlesque… Bitten is calling my name for my crease! I’m so glad you’re reviewing these!
Love the makeup look you came up with!!! 🙂
I’m glad that the one shade that I liked (Burlesque) performed the best 😀
Cupcake is really unique! I love muted pinks. 🙂
I really need some MUG eyeshadows in my life.
Those are though color to wear together because of the red in it (anyway on my reddish skin) but the quality seams great!
I’ve been keeping an eye on these posts as am aware, but haven’t purchased products from this line yet. Definitely worth consideration–love the colour range–good performance and wicked good price.
have you tried their lipsticks? also would you consider doing a review of the Lorac unzipped palette
The lipsticks are discontinued, so it didn’t make sense to try any!
bitten, cupcake and cocoa bear have been on my wishlist for a while! Thanks for the photos; they’re so helpful!
These shades are beautiful as many others from MUG. I like they perform well and hey, they price is excellent. Gonna be checking these out soon, I have to update my makeup pallete. 😉
BITTEN is one of my favorite shadows I own. And I own a ton of shadows!
As always, your reviews are the most thorough and helpful.
Thank you, Liz! 🙂
