Makeup by Mario Four-Play Everyday Eyeshadow Quad ($25.00 for 0.20 oz.) come in three variations and are new and limited edition for the holiday season (no idea why something that seems so core is limited edition, but I digress!). Absolutely nothing about these excites me. They are NOTHING like those beauties he did last year. Very basic and boring.
I had to look twice because I thought I was seeing sth from ColourPop or Fenty and Tarte has quads with pretty much the same colours. Price and quality would be a major factor here when deciding.
Have to agree with Nancy above – these look to be shade colours that absolutely abound in the market place and not even remotely interesting. There are some nice individual shades – like N2 and N6, but there are also a couple that look pretty weak as well.
These are limited edition for holiday release?? I don’t get that logic at all. I think Colourpop just recently did a batch of nude toned quads that looked a lot like these, didn’t they?
I like these as everyday palettes. Should be permanent not LE holiday releases.
I agree! I thought it was really odd they weren’t permanent. They are basic (not in a bad way!) to the line, so it would make more sense that they’re permanent than LE.
Exactly
His holiday quads from last year are still on the site, so I wonder if they’re not “limited edition” but won’t ever actually go away.
