I can’t wait to see your review, Christine! 😊 I’ve been holding off buying it to see what your thoughts were.
To me, this palette still has the echo of ND’s Glam – lots of soft neutral shades. This palette is smaller and has more mattes in it and I think it will be quite popular. There are a couple of shades I do like here – Shades 8 & 11. Generally the swatches are looking good.
I have to tell myself: “nah, nah, nah! You have too many neutral eyeshadow palettes already!”
How long do we think I’ll last before I cave?
Such nice neutrals. I find myself leaning toward non-red n we urals and also very cool ones.
Such a pretty palette! This is one I’d reach for a lot – just got so many dupes for these colors, it really doesn’t make sense for me to seek it out right now.
Another very warm toned neutral palette. How revolutionary
Nice basic palette if you don’t already have a mittful.
This reminds me so much of Korean eyeshadow, especially with those topper shades. Reminds me a lot of Wakemake Neutral Blurring, except with more shimmers.
This looks really nice and neutral – practical, flattering – all the good things of a neutral eyeshadow palette! I remember when I first saw the original UD Naked palette – my reaction to this (with more colours) is similar to my excitement upon seeing that ground-breaking palette. Of course, the eye look you did is so lovely and just adds to my desire to possess this palette even though I probably don’t need it. If it gets a good rating from you (and it’s available in store near me and I can actually GET OUT to pick it up), I’m fairly likely to purchase this (though even as I type this, I’m telling myself “You do NOT need this!”)
I liked this when I first saw it, but having recently purchased Colourpop’s Fairy Well has curbed my desire for more neutral palettes. I do think the colors are beautiful, but for $68 they had better perform perfectly.
This palette doesn’t really stand out to me. On a completely different note- as a long time reader, I only recently created a profile and I’ve been adding things to my vanity. I did not know that I could check a palette for dupes within my vanity with the push of one button. Christine, you are amazing. Thank you for all that you do!
I got this partly because I’ve been using a lot of Mario products and really loving them (matte lipsticks, lip pencils, and blushes in particular). It’s beautiful, and very wearable for everyday. Looking forward to creating some more dramatic looks for the holidays.
I plan to pick this up. I think it will suit me better than ND glam midi, so it replaced that one on my loves list. I just hope to fit it into my budget before it is sold out.
Looks pretty but I wouldn’t use the first three shades very often, if ever. The texture on #2 looks like something I wouldn’t be a fan of. The rest of the shades look very beautiful though.
I think that when anyone else in the industry keeps making neutral palettes, it has to be (I hope) because they’ve done their metrics and seen that they have enough core clients to sell enough of them. I REALLY can’t see purchasing another neutral palette in my lifetime unless my palettes take on bacteria or I’m 70 and need a need a new one.
