Yay! I’ve had Wheat and Pink Brown in my cart for my next Sephora haul… I’m definitely going to add Teak, too!
Teak is sooo smooth!
Pink brown is my favorite MUFE shadow! I’m a medium dark black woman and it’s pretty pink on me, so I was surprised to see how brown it appeared on Christine’s skin. I wear it a lot, with all kinds of other colors. MUFE shadows are so, so fabulous.
Wow, I don’t know what happened to Vanilla (looks drier than the Sahara) but the rest are pretty. I can see Bottle Green making a nice green smoky eye, and that Apple Green looks like such a fun color to pop on
Apple Green is a fun one 😀
I totally copied this look when I first saw it and I loved it 🙂
Christine I have an off topic question. I’m building my own palette and wondering what’s the best black to add. Something that’s blendable in the outer corner but also intense and would stay put on the upper lash line. I’m thinking Typographic, MUG Corrupt, or UD Blackout? I have no experience with any of those but I’d need a pan that was the same size as MAC.
If you want a really deep one, Corrupt. I don’t think UD Blackout is significantly better than Corrupt (they’re really comparable, IMO). Typographic is the easiest of those three to blend out, but it’s not quite as rich/deep as either Corrupt or Blackout.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your response 🙂
I always put off buying MUFE shadows for other, flashier palettes or LE singles, but I really need to get a collection going! Bottle Green has been on my list for awhile now!
Haha! That is the problem with anything permanent, you know? “Later, later!” They’re also not exactly CHEAP as singles either.
I love English Pink! Just wish it were a bit more pigmented. Don’t know why, I’m always drawn to pink eyeshadows.
Do you wear pink eyeshadow often, Whitney?
Not as often as I would like! I was first inspired by a look done in one of 2NE1 (a Korean girl group band), and I’ve been a fan ever since. I like a soft pink in the middle, with a darker color in the crease.
These look great, as usual – I’m really excited that we -finally- have some MUFE stuff easily available in the UK!
Though I’m a little salty that it arrived just after I splurged on some UD eyeshadow singles I really wanted so I’m broke (one of them was Dive Bar which I picked up partly thanks to your review Christine – I absolutely love it and it’s the very first blue eyeshadow I’ve had the nerve to wear).
YAY! Happy that Dive Bar is working for you, A 🙂 Such a pretty shade.
Bottle Green is stunning!
It is!
Yes! MUFE Does it again! 😀 Well, except for Vanilla then, lol. Lovely shades, beautiful finishes.
lol! It’s workable if you have fairer skin, but it’s such a far cry from most of the line’s quality.
Oh, MUFE. Why, oh why, must you sell in China and not be CF… I wanna buy all the things.
Aww!
That bottle green shade is lovely. I’ve been searching for great new green shades to add to my arsenal ever since I saw and was then let down by that green Hourglass shadow palette.
It’s such a gorgeous shade to work with!
English Pink and Bottle Green!!!
Such great shades!
Gorgeous eye look! I kinda have delayed my MUFE purchases until I can get more organized and less overwhelmed. I was having such a hard time picking out shades and a couple of times I ordered the same shade and had to return them. I so would provide a service where they would build a palette for you. I would actually pay for it,lol. I love the shadows. But, my eye for picking the coordinating shadows to suit me is lacking. I love all of these and some day, I’ll add them..hopefully once I get my stash organized and my health a little more settled. This is the best shadow by far IMO. I wish they would make a smokey palette.:)
Maybe they’ll keep releasing palettes so at least they’ve helped in some way to coordinate 🙂
Drooling. If Vanilla were switched out for something better, I would seriously by all of these together in a pre-made “Earthy” artist palette. Now I just to get add to my “to buy” list. I must have Bottle Green at all costs. 🙂
The colors came together a lot more nicely than I anticipated!
I like bottle green quite a bit!
Yay!
Ok, so I’ve been trying to decide between putting together a MUFE trio consisting of Pink Brown, Peacock and Silver Brown ( still not totally certain about Peacock though) or another MAC quad including Haux. I really obviously love those Pink Brown or Haux types of shades! Bottle Green is much prettier than I imagined, so now I’m thinking, hmmm…what about Pink Brown, Peacock and Bottle Green for a smoky peacock eye? Ever since I got my toes wet with Nudes You Need, I’m drawn to the Artist Shadows!
That would be a gorgeous trio! 🙂
A decision has been made, tentatively anyway, my 1st trio will be: M600 Pink Brown, ME302 Peacock, and D200 Crystalline Mauve Turquoise (or is is turquoise mauve?) ! I tried that at combo at Sephora yesterday and D200 as an inner corner shade blended over into the edge of Peacock is AMAZING!

But a 2nd trio will have Bottle Green, Silver Brown and possibly Crystalline Papaya, most likely in Aug. or Sept..
Niceeee!
I can hardly wait to put those 2 trios together! Oh, for some reason when I tried to amend my comment, it sent both the amended and the original, I don’t know what I did wrong there? Anyway, sorry I accidentally sent both!
Just butting in to say Haux is one of my top five eyeshadows of all time and is possibly my favorite MAC eyeshadow. It’s lovely and flattering, and so versatile and easy to blend. It can even be a cheek contour. Just a perfect product IMHO. It makes me happy when other people give it some love.
I’m really surprised by Vanilla, the testers I tried out was on the powdery side as well but, I had not used it in practice like you.
But ENGLISH PINK has been on my list! There just so many shades in this range I think I’ll save it for IMATS this year and pick up more of the MUFE artist palette as they come out. 😉
Wheat was also another shadow I kept gravitating towards. lol I know I probably have other pale gold shades, but I’m a sucker for them as well. 😉
No shame — I tried maybe a dozen and had to have them all. And that was a tall task, LOL.
If Vanilla was a little denser, I think it would be quite nice – the color itself is a nice light beige for lighter skin tones to highlight or to mattify most anything, but it falls so short compared to most of the line!
I’ve been hoping someone would release a dupe for L’Oreal’s Golden Emerald and here it is 🙂 On my wish list Bottle Green goes. Not sure why L’O doesn’t make that beautiful shade part of the Infallible range in western Europe.
This is a superb look you’ve put together, Christine!
A bit off-topic but MUFE helped me realize a childhood dream last week: blue eyes! The SA helped me pick the blue colored contacts that would look the most natural on my hazel eyes and the result was every bit as good as I had hoped! ^^
Thank you, Tigerlily! 🙂
YAY! So glad you found a way to achieve blue eyes in a way that works!
oh my god, teak is just PERFECT!
It’s so pretty!
This is a nice batch of colors. I like Wheat, English Pink and Teak!
They ended up working together well!
I wonder if English Pink could double as a blush?
I bet it could!
I really like Teak. Gorgeous brown. I hope they have it at “my” Sephora. They sadly have few of the MUFE eyeshadows. It seems like a lot at first look, but they have two or three of all the colours they have, I hope this makes sence.
I hope they have it, Helene!
How funny that the poor performer is the vanilla one! I guess MUFE didn’t put the same effort into the ‘everybody has one’ shades.
Love the pink and Teak, esp together.
LOL! I think they went for “super blendable” but that usually translates to powderyyy.
