MUST RESIST!!!!

Come’on Sephora, really? Waiting with this to the last day of the sale, after we’ve already bought a bunch of stuff and can’t really buy anymore AND pay rent? (oh great, now I can’t get the Rent soundtrack out of my head)

Lori P Avatar

I know!!! I’ve already done three orders and was done and then these AND the new UD stuff hits the website. I’m going to have to wait until payday (this Friday) to do another order. :/

Mariella Avatar

I was thinking the same thing with regard to the new UD blushes FINALLY arriving – WHY couldn’t it have been during the VIB sale (can anyone believe I actually bought NOTHING this time….I had a list but the weather was so crummy yesterday and today that I just wanted to get home after work and couldn’t even be tempted by a mini-spree at Sephora!)

Celia Avatar

It’s a testament to how wonderful these shadows are that I have every shade available in both kits and still kind of want the kits haha. The convenience of the smaller, portable studio cases is just lovely and the graphic on the packaging is so cute. FINALLY got the MUFE brush book when it briefly came back in stock with the Rouge discount so the excitement of that should hopefully tide me over on these lovely cases 😛 MUFE also added new Aquamatic shades, two new Aqua Rouge shades (though Iconic is still out of stock as it has been FOREVER), a new bronzer line and bronzer brush, and a mascara duo kit. The new UD shadows, blushes, and glosses have also been added 🙂 Always pushing for those last-minute sale orders 😛

Holy Schickeys! You are a ROCKSTAR! I would have never seen this. I just ordered 5 of the new Urban Decay shadows. But, now way can I pass these up and with 15% off on top! Thanks for the heads up! I am going to be so poor after today and I have not even made it to get my holds yet !

Christina D. Avatar

I ordered both of these first thing this morning! I logged onto Sephora.com early since I knew it was the last day to use my VIB Rouge 15% discount, and spotted the palettes immediately. So psyched to get these!

Christina D. Avatar

OMG I’m so glad to hear that! At least my insanity is not isolated. I have this routine when I get to my office before I begin work: check Sephora.com, check Ulta.com, sometimes check Beauty.com — and of course check Temptalia (and Musings of a Muse)!

Aline Avatar

Yes! I already stocked up on some basics and was looking for just one fun thing as a treat and here it is! Beautiful colors, excellent formula and easy to travel with for the summer. I’m psyched!

Angie Avatar

I checked for these first things this morning hoping they would sneak them in on last day of sale. I had to do a search for specific name to find them though. I ordered the nude palette! I haven’t tried any of their eye shadows yet. The new bronzers area on there too

Katherine T. Avatar

Wow, these are a great value! I just bought a bunch of MUFE shadows during the Sephora sale, glad none are featured here. The 2nd one is very tempting, even if I have enough nude palettes.

jewon Avatar

On the Sephora Website, it doesn’t list the Nude Artist palette as a limited edition! It just says exclusive… Do you know what’s up with that? I’m really hoping they are right!!! I DESPISE limited editions!

Diana Avatar

Jewon, the crave palette is limited, and the nudes is not. They’re coming out with a new fun palette regularly that’s limited, and keeping the nude one as a staple (I work at Sephora, and that’s what the brand rep told us).

Alyssa Avatar

I just bought i544 in a trio the other day and now it’s in a palette for a much better deal!! I think I’ll have to buy this nude palette and exchange my other one for another color. Sephora gets me again, taking all my money…

Veronica Avatar

The nude palette looks more wearable on cooler toned skin in the image, but I suspect it’ll probably be warmer in person. I really love the look of the electric palette. The neutrals might even make it more convenient to haul around than the UD palette.

Karen Avatar

Hi Christine thank you for letting us know about these new palettes! I’m so excited to try them out! I’ve been looking forward to the opportunity to try these new shadows out, this is perfect timing! I ordered them both through you link, which I did not know I could do until a little while ago a reader had mentioned that they ordered through your link. I actually hadn’t noticed that ME512 golden beige is in both palettes until I was looking more closely at the swatches, but that’s ok I’m still happy! 🙂

Eri Avatar

Must resist yes!!! Whyyyy on the last day of the sale!

But, I have to say, I have the two other LE from this winter and there is some overlap with the colors (i.e., pearl, black, black purple, peacock..) though in smaller sizes. And some of these shades are not all that unique …–the things I’ll say to myself to resist!

Celia Avatar

The previous Studio Case they released under the same concept definitely performed as well as their full-sized counterparts so hopefully that trend continues here 🙂 The Artist Palette released prior to the full range debuting also shared the same quality so I think MUFE prioritizes that.

Celia Avatar

I have used each of the colors in the nude palette in their single form on many darker shades of skin and they looked great. The MUFE Artist formula tends to perform very well on all tones. Hopefully these will perform the same but the formula itself is a pretty safe bet 🙂

Rachel R. Avatar

Nice! I don’t have any of the shades in the Nude palette. I have Electric Magenta, Purple and Black Purple from the Electric palette, but I wouldn’t mind having smaller versions in a little palette like this. I use those shades a lot. The packaging is very cute.

I’m glad to see they didn’t repeat colors from the Studio Case from last holiday season.

Rachel R. Avatar

I got them both, stacked the coupon sale with ebates, double cash back to boot. I know I keep saying I don’t need more nudes, but…it’s MUFE! Now I’m officially out of money, so nothing new better come out for awhile. lol

Mariella Avatar

The NUDE palette is so calling my name. I already have one of the shadows in it and had been searching for another, only to decide (after reading reviews from some members here) that it wasn’t all that and I really didn’t need it. And I so don’t need another nude palette but (spoiled baby voice on) I want it sooooo much.

WARPAINTandUnicorns Avatar

Second VIB order just got home from work. I knew about the Electric Palette in advance, but had no clue about the launch time. I felt bad about missing the smaller holiday set, but this one makes up for it at the cheaper price. 😉

Passing on the nude, I just have soo many nude shades in singles and palettes nothing really calling me in that one at the moment. (If it goes on sale later though…..)

Heather F. Avatar

Dang. These are REALLY calling to me, but I’m worried the quality of their palettes won’t measure up to the quality of their singles.

Yadira Avatar

I ordered these as soon as I saw your post! Super excited since I missed out on the 30 years palette. Used my 15% discount also. Woo hoo!

Nancy T Avatar

This “Nudes You Need” looks like an almost perfect nude/neutral palette, if I didn’t already have so many neutrals already! However, I may just have to get this in May. First, I’ll cross reference the shades to see whether I already own their respective dupes. But I REALLY like it a LOT!

Madelyn Avatar

I got them both. I am super happy with the mattes in the new Kat Von D eye contour pallet. However, great colors and metallics have been hard to get. I have heard nothing but good things about this formula. If these really are 3/4ths full sized these are a great value. But now I have to give my debit card a rest!

Kim Avatar

I ordered both after buying a bunch of shadows and other things with our sephora discount. Sad/exciting part is that I have the makeup show in 11 days! I was trying to restrain myself! I plan to finish my holiday shopping!

mina Avatar

I would like this palette alot better if only they included some of the other brighter shades, like the me400? Yellow or that like green or one of ththis palette isn’t interesting enough for me. Shades look all too familiar

Meg Avatar

Thanks for posting this! I got both of them just in time for the 15% VIB sale – I’ve been making a list of all the shades I wanted, and these sets contain quite a few on my wish list. Wanted to say thank you for arranging the swatches in that link so we can see exactly how the palette will look. VERY helpful and cool feature. Thanks!
