I’m glad they are bringing back Beaded. It is one of my favorite highlight colors. Looks like there are few shades that are not available individually.
It’s a great collection… sadly it will be a pass for me since I have about 1/2 the shadows already. Retrospect was one of the first 2 MAC eye shadows I purchased (Tempting was the other one,) and I believe the only shadow I have ever used up and had to repurchase.
Not including pigments, since those and fluidlines were really my first purchases.
I’m in the same boat as Shannone – I either have many of these shadows or they are shadows I really avoid like the plague (Carbon, I am looking at YOU!) or they are colours that don’t work well for me so this is an easy pass (not that those of us in Canada have easy access to Nordies, though one is opening in Ottawa soon, I think).
Nordstrom in Ottawa has been open a couple months now. Its very nice to have one close by at last!! Can’t wait for the anniversary sale this week!
This looks like the perfect fall palette. I only have Soft Brown from this palette so I might consider it. With all these new palettes coming out I started being very picky because I already own a lot of palettes that I need to use more often 🙂

After debating with myself all morning long, I ended up ordering this. It is a good value and I love the big palettes. Plus Beaded is one of my all time favorite colors and I used mine up and never got a backup.
Beaded and Felt sealed the deal for me with this one. Plus it has several shadows that I have used up and needed to replace.
Looks like a good value, but pass for me. I have enough of the neutral colors, a couple look interesting , but the others don’t look that exciting to me.
Looks like it has a little bit of everything. Warm (first row), cool (second row) and some rosy (third row) shades. I’m considering to get it.
Christine, how well does Nordstrom package their orders? I want to order it to my family’s US address since Nordstrom does not ship MAC products outside the states, but kind of scared to have things arrive broken.
I can’t remember anything breaking from Nordstrom (I am sure something has at least once, I just don’t recall), but they have excellent customer service. They typically wrap is thick paper (almost like thin cardboard).
Beaded doesn’t seem particularly unique, Chains Of Love is a bronze-which I don’t typically get excited about, and I plan to grab Print as a single (I can’t believe I don’t already have it given my penchant for greys…), so that only leaves Felt, and I can’t justify $85 for one shade. I have the Gravitas palette, and along with all my permanent neutrals, I have everything else.
I like the selection of colors in this one, with the peaches, plums and the olive (though it is a luster).
I am excited about this! I can toss my old singles of some of these colors and have a nice, clean, new palette! I hope the quality is the same. Some of the eye shadows I’d be tossing are from years ago. I’m excited to get Beaded after reading some of the comments – sounds like a great color.
I grabbed this yesterday when I was shopping for the Nsale! I only have soft brown and green smoke, so I’m excited. I actually don’t have a lot of MAC shadows, compared to some, so I’m still considering getting the other Nordy exclusive for MAC.
Oh man! I JUST got the Nordstrom Naturals palette and now they brought this out! Ugh I’m so conflicted to get this or not. I may have to be a bit naughty! =x Can’t wait for your swatches Christine, I’m sure once I see those I’ll get it, just like the Nordstrom Naturals…. Sigh you are a blessing and a curse Christine (I say that in the best way possible with the most love!) I SO enjoy the services you provide to us beauty lovers!!!!
Gosh, other than the Carbon (which was in their other LE palette) this looks gorgeous! I have to start saving my pennies.
Quite a lovely palette – but way too warm for me. I do love the inclusion of the olive shades though.
Out of the permanent shades in this palette, I own 3 of them; Orb, Soft Brown and Greensmoke. Which ironically, I had used ALL 3 in my look today before I had an opportunity to read this post! So I had to have a laugh over this! It came together beautifully with Orb on browbone, Soft Brown in crease as my blending shade, CP Girly inner corner, CP So Quiche on lid, Greensmoke in outer V and undereye.
I ordered this yesterday, I was hesitant because I hate the online photos they are not very clear but I am really excited about this it seems like a really nice mix of shades that I really like. Of the shades I only owned Carbon, Goldmine (I got both in the Maleficent palette), Soft Brown and Cork, cork is in the Amber Nine by Nine palette so its very small and I love the shade so I don’t mind having two.
When will they stop trying to force Carbon on us? lol
Oh no. This is the dream palette that I’ve been building up gradually with my Z palette!! I have a few of these but it’s really tempting me…

Put Typographic in this collection, MAC. It’s more of a dark, dark grey, rather than black but it’s a lot softer and would look great with those purples and other greys.
