China’s most outlandish fashion designer, Chris Chang, puts an acid-soaked twist on her modern M·A·C collection, featuring a vivid kaleidoscope of cutting-edge colour, inspired by the ancient Chinese art form Kunqu. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

The reference point for this collection is amazing. Not just Kunqu, but other forms of traditional Chinese opera. The Peony Pavillion seems to be performed by all companies, has dream, death, resurrection, deux ex machina, the whole 9 yards…in up to 22 hours of performance. The makeup seems very faithful to the few pix I googled. This is a hidden world behind a contemporary m/u collection, with centuries old traditions that are all but unknown to contemporary western society. Bravo, MAC, for this reach and inspiration.

Love it !!!!!! think I will buy a lot of it just because it Looks so amazing (if I get the Chance to buy it, very low chances here in germany, selected locations means that I will have to buy it online and there you have no Chance, the things sell out while you Are putting them into basket, you can put one or two things into the basket and then have to pay to get at least These two things, and if you Are very Lucky maybe you can make another order).
