Ok ok you got me. I got the Feline like I promised. I also got Talent Pool and Lotusland. I swatched Lotusland and Stars N Rockets, and must you be so correct they are nothing alike. Lotusland is much closer to pink. I may have to go back and get Top Hat though….

Yesterday I went over to closest MAC store and I didnt see it anywhere. I was highly disappointed but when I asked the MA she advised they were not going to have it on display until today. But I can still buy them and she let me chk them out. I got Dream Maker, Glamour Check, Go!, Mink & Sable and Smoke & Diamonds. Love them…thanks for the great review.

Hmm…when I go to the website, all eyeshadows are now $14.50, the eyeliners are $14.50 and the mascara is $12.

Looks like the price increase is now in effect 🙁
I bought two Starflash shadows today and they charged me $14.50.
I think this information was actually written in advance of the price increases (which went in effect July 1st).

I’m trying to decide on Smoke and Diamonds still, since I have magnetic fields i’m thinking it’ll look similar. I’m also not sure about Lotusland yet..not too sure what colors it could look good blended with.
I picked up Smoke and Diamonds today and I also have Magnetic Fields – NOTHING alike. Magnetic fields is a warm black-brown. Smoke and Diamonds is a warmish pewtery gray – a much lighter color than Magnetic Fields. I heart both of these eyeshadows so much!
Yep. And S&D had a touch of green to it, I think. Or at least it brings out the green in eye color.

So, today I got Lotusland (Very Pretty!), Talent Pool (This may be going back. On me, Talent Pool and Gulf Stream from the Cool Heat collection look IDENTICAL! Anyone else agree? Can’t justify keeping it….and I hate bringing items back.)
Of course, my beloved Orpheus Eye Kohl (2 to be exact) and Feline Eye Pencil (you were right, Christine. DRAMA! And, I love it)
There are some other things on my radar…so I’ll be back!

I’ll have to check those two out, since I have both. But I did feel Talent Pool was similar to Parrot, and Gulf Stream was very teal/aqua on me whereas Parrot was more blue… Hm!
Could anybody post swatches comparing Talent Pool to Gulf Stream? I don’t want to waste my money if they are too similar.
I have Sunset B., Lotusland, Top Hat, Go, and Feline on my list. I have to go check them out. Christine I was wondering if your MAC store took your de-potted shadows?

Another Kohl Power junkie due to your rave reviews, Christine 🙂 My partner and I went today and she made me go wander elsewhere after I swatched all of the liners and PLWs I’d already scoped out ahead of time… She picked up all four colors of the Kohl Power for me, and I’ll be getting at least two, maybe three, of the new pro longwear duos next weekend. Yay, butches and boyfriends who spoil us girls with makeup! 🙂
