I’m interested in the finishing pressed powder & Illuminate Pale lavender
skin enhancer.
Man. I am kind of annoyed that they have the matte mixing medium there in the promo pictures, but it’s not in the actual collection. Would be kind of nice to have a limited time where I didn’t have to go to a specific Mac Pro store to check it out.
LOL I did the same thing! I hate ordering over the phone and haven’t had an opportunity to go to a city with a Pro store in a while. I was excited that I’d get a chance to try the matte mixing medium when I saw the picture, but then realized it wasn’t in the collection. =(
what colours will the skin enhancers correct? lavender for sallow skin and maybe the yellow for redness and the peach for darker skin tones as an illuminater at a loss for the orangey one but i think it would work best on darker skin tones
wish that they had a green one for redness coming out in this collection !
“Neutralize (Pale yellow) calms a red, blotchy complexion”. I believe MAC decided to come out with a pale yellow rather than a green because its a an actual color found within the skin. The added advantage of its use in correcting redness is that it would be excellent for under eye dark circles, because yellow is often used to counteract purplish blemishes or bruises.
Agreed. Seems like a no-brainer. I don’t think they make any green skin correctors at all… Do they?
they make a green pan corrector which is sold at the pro store called ash blonde which is a pale green colour
I might take a look into the pressed powder. Other than that, nothing else really sparks my interest.
@Chloe, perhaps yellow should work instead of green. . Yellow in the same family as green.. and i use yellow concealer mixed with skintoned coloured for redness..
ok cool thanks for your help 🙂
[collapse] FINALLY Prep+Prime Transparent in a pressed powder! I’ve been begging MAC for it for like 2 years now! LOL!
I’m so confused, I must be missing something. The official blurb is all about a lash serum but it’s not in the product list or promo pictures…I wanted to read about the skin enhancers.
Hmmm…definitely interested in the lavender skin enhancer and set powder compact. I came across a lilac set powder at a CCO recently and fell in love with it. It controls oil better than any other powder I’ve used and the lilac really helps brighten my super yellow skin. I’m a little too tan for it now, but I’m looking forward to trying both of these.
The lash serum does show up the website but is not linked to this collection apparently.. weird!
I think I’ll check out the lash serum and maybe a powder.. loose vs pressed, that is the question!
The pressed powder sounds great.
I like the idea of a pressed powder as a primer 🙂 quick and easy.
The pressed powder looks great
I’m so glad that they are bringing this collection to the US! I got my peach color skin enhancer last October in Asia and have been using it since. Gives a very healthy looking skin–like I’ve been drinking enough water and sleeping enough (which I don’t…)
cant wait for the pressed powder! i have the the loose powder version and im in love with it!!! i already finished 2 containers and im glad its a permanent item
I’ll get the pressed powder. That’s all
The MAC MUA at my counter used the Adujust (peach) on me underneath my foundation and it look amazing! I am an NC50 for reference. I would recommend it for all women of color.
