Although I love the Mineralized Skin Finish Natural I will have to skip on this collection. When I bought the Mineralize Foundation it made my skin SUPER SUPER SUPER Oily.

There are new Mineralize eyeshadows coming out around that time too. The kind that MAC switches out every year or so. I have seen them, they are very pretty. I dont know all their names yet though so I dont know which one it is. When artists are trained on the new collections the back of their “update books” typically have the displayer information listing the shadows used. After the collection is launched ask one of the artists at your local MAC if they know what shadow it is. 🙂

Not exactly. The job of the makeup artist is to convey the “feeling” of the collection. But as an artist you are at liberty to use whatever products you want. These images could have just as easily been used to promote a new matte lipstick or blush or eyeshadow. It COULD be a mineral eye shadow, but it could also just as easily be a pigment… or a reflex… or something discontinued from years past. Just because you see a model wearing particular makeup, it doesn’t mean that there is always a connect between the products used and the products featured.

Mineralize Concealer in liquid form shall be interesting.

Mineralize Foundation/Loose sound like they will also be neutral like the Mineralize Skin Finish Natural and with the 9m shades matc the 15 to 50 range. I use the MSF Natural in Light one an if the only MAC foundation that matches my paleness. lol But I will assume that Light will match the NC20/NW20 in the Mineralize Foundation/Loose formula.

No NC25 in any of the MAC concealers. No idea why that is, but I always mix NC20 and NC30 to get NC25 at the store on customers. The best you can do if you really like one of the concealers :\

The powder will still have SPF 10, but since it is a powder, the FDA won’t allow “SPF” to be printed on the product since you may or may not get complete or even coverage. The concealer will be a creamy formula but not runny, more on the side of being medium-buildable, probably sharing the coverage of pro-longwear or select cover-up.

I tried the concealer today under my eyes and on the back of my hand. It has better coverage than moisture cover and it is slightly thicker and creamier in texture (still not as heavy as studio fix concealer). I liked the application (finger), since it goes on smooth and it is very easy to blend. Staying power seems to be really good. Did a blended out swatch on the back of my hand and it was still noticeable after washing may hands 2-3 times. The colors seem to be on the darker side. Usually I wear a NW 20 under my eyes, but the NW 20 was way to dark for me. All in all i would definitely give it a try girls!!! 🙂

Am i wondering, will this be less drying on the skin? I have very very dry skin and i do not particularly like the other concealers =(
I mean, they work wonders but i feel my skin very tight after some hours =(

If you tried it maybe you can tell me..
And i’ll skip the powder foundation, i bet it will be great but again, loose stuff makes my skin feel incredbly tight and fry =[

What color did you end up getting in the concealer, I am usually an NW20 as well and want to order on line? I thought by picures I have seen that it did look darker than the moisture cover that I already have.
