i love the packaging, the compacts doesn’t look as heavy as stylistics. kind of reminds me of guerlain packaging. i’m hoping the sheerspark powders are much better than stylistics and not hard as a rock. i think the texture of the mystery powders were nice however, i find it has that purfumey smell which i actually hate, i don’t know maybe just me. so as of now, i’m considering status symbol l/s and personal touch sheerspark powder but i won’t be buying online, i have to see it in person so i might change my mind.

I’m getting a lipstick/lipgloss pair. Thank goodness Air of Style is in sensible packaging! I almost bought it online, but it’s $90 which = expensive. What if I didn’t like it? Also debating the Sheer Mystery Powder. Should I hold out for Hello Kitty? Hmm.

I think I might want Identity lipgloss – I’ll have to see if the Sheerspark powdersare any good. Last years ones were terrible. I really like the Sheer Mystery Powder but I already have it from the 1st couture collection, the one with the black crystals that weighs 20 lbs, lol.

I have the powder from the Couture collection 2-3 years ago. It’s very nice, soft & sheer & not badly priced considering you get the compact & the refill. I like it.

Not buying any of it! Saving for Hello Kitty!
Plus, still fuming from last year’s MAC Couture (Stylistics) collection because it was disappointing and cheap. Almost everything I bought from this collection (which is a lot) ended up breaking or being bad: the sheersparks powders too hard and unworkable, the lipsticks too long and too thin and flimsy and broke with first application, the packaging too big and heavy, the fragrance bottle unpractical. I should have gone back to MAC couanter and asked for refund but didn’t.

Not a huge fan of the gold packaging. Does anyone remember maybe 10-12 years ago when they had those charcoal/silver lipstick bullets? Those were cool, then they abandoned them for the black ones. Oh well. MAC sure is slapping out the collections faster than I can blink!

I’m not crazy about the gradient packaging. Status Symbol l/s and Old English Pressed Powder might be nice to have, but I think I’ll wait to check them out in person.

I’ve never looked at any of their ‘couture’ collections, so this is my first time seeing one and I’m really not impressed. I like MAC precisely because the products are (relatively, depending on your spending point) affordable. I’m not shelling out $22 for lipstick unless it does something freakin’ amazing.
