MAC Give Me Liberty of London Photoshoot — Behind-the-Scenes

You have to love the high-tech age we live in… the amount of information that we can consume about our favorite brands and hobbies is just amazing. Love that MAC has been taking us behind-the-scenes at their photoshoots lately. You can check out additional photos on MAC Cosmetics’ Facebook.

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

love these pictures! I went to mac yesterday and picked up some of the stuff from this collection, just to find out the prim & proper blush had already sold out… i had to go to another mac store in the same mall!

Those pictures are absolutely gorgeous–thank you for posting! I love this collection. I got some Liberty of London things from Target tonight–more will be online and out either tomorrow or Monday. So cute–definitely worth looking at! 🙂

Oh my gosh, love the nails!

They’re definitely using Free to Be as a blush and I am so in love with the idea – will probably pick one up tomorrow just for that purpose!

Maybe they are SE brushes?

Jolene Avatar

no i don’t think they are SE brushes , because the ones in the picture taper, and mac brushes are straight and rounded off at the bottom

The photo has a tilt-shift focus on the eye shadows and the brushes and hand is blurred to gain this effect. I think that is a MAC brush, but a black handle when blurred will look grey.

Also, there was a SE brush set with grey handles not too long ago. This could be another reason for the look of that brush.

I’m glad to see the model eating in the first pic. :)I like these behind-the-scenes photos. I hadn’t noticed the nail detail before today. It’s a great reference to the Liberty of London special packaging. Yes, that brush looks like my Trish McEvoy travel blush brush. But you know what? I’ve seen other brands do photo shoots with makeup artists using MAC brushes, so it’s all good. 🙂

Am I the only one who thinks the model looks like she was severely beat up? Especially in the pic where the MA is applying blush (with the non-MAC brush!) She just looks like she’s all pink and purple bruised.

Sharon Avatar

No, you’re not the only one — that’s the first thought I had when I saw the picture (also in the other promo photo that’s been out for a while)!

Liana Avatar

is it just me, or does her lips look like they used ever hip l/s. In the original promo picture seems like she was wearing blooming lovely?
