MAC Cosmetics - Fafi For MAC In-Store Events

I just wanted to give my dearest readers that many stores around the country are having events to celebrate the Fafi launch.  Some of these include unveilings, which are amazing opportunities to see Fafi before it’s even launched officially!  It is best to call up your local store/counter and ask if they have anything going on.  With that said, I will be attending the unveiling event for Fafi on February 10th at MAC Cosmetics at Valley Fair in San Jose, CA. If you’re in the area and would like to come, and call (408) 244-6533 to RSVP!  I’m scheduled to attend at 5:30pm, but please let me know if you can make it and when you will, because I’m sure I can find a reason to stick around longer!

(And also, this means you can fully expect swatches and a review February 10th/11th!)

Hey Sarai!

Depends on the event, but for unveilings, this is what happens…

1) They shut down the store to the public, only those who are on the guest list can come in.
2) There is a red carpet with velvet ropes, and they make sure you’re on the list before entering.
3) They only allow so many in at once, but once you’re in, they usually give you a piece of paper with all of the products from the launch so you can check off what you want and how many.
4) Hand over your sheet after checking out the products, an artist grabs it for you, and then you can pay.

They usually have waiters dressed up and bringing around appetizers and drinks. A DJ will be in one corner playing music, too.

Please please please please please have your review up on the 10th? I’ll be getting mine on the 11th and your reviews have been the only trustworthy source of information for me! I trust u even more than my MA because sometimes I think they just wanna get me to buy more stuff so they’ll say how everything is just good good good. But u’re different! You are just pure professional and have been more than helpful with tutorials and questions! So please honey please? 10th?
