Hey Christine, Didn’t you say that some of these would be available here in the US? not as a whole collection but some colors would be here…I think its soooo unfair that I can’t buy these!!!!

MoOn Avatar

” European Exclusive”?!
can I ask way they are doing this, I mean why not all collections be in all MAC stores????that doesn’t make sense, if they have addicted customers all over the world so why they are diong this to us 🙁 oh god I’m really mad and sad >_< T_T

kitty Avatar

there are plenty of collections and items that are unavailable to european customers; plus those that are available here are often twice the price if not more, and a lot later than in the US – fafi just launched here, and heatherette isn’t out til april 15th – and i heard it will only be available online.

so, in my opinion, its nice that we get this exciting collection here in europe and over in the middle east, its a treat for us 🙂

Amy Avatar

I’m ticked! Heatherette did not impress me and so I thought, “hey, these sound like some awesome colors–can’t wait to pick up London Life and Naked Paris!” What? Not sold in the U.S.? Boo!!

victoria Avatar

i have fast play and it’s one of my favorites but i love lustres and they have a couple that i wish i could try. my sister is in hong kong but she said that people there are crazy about mac too and new collections get sold out fast. too bad my sister’s not a mac fan like me.

Claudine Avatar

i signed up for the mac event next weekend in switzerland they release this collection and heatherette together but just at one store one hour driving for me lol

court Avatar

why are some of you US people pissed off at this? GET OVER IT!!! i mean in the UK we didnt even get a-mei and a few other collections you got so i think its good that we finally get a collection of our own.

Christine Avatar

Hey Court, only like, four stores got A-Mei, and otherwise it was online very briefly. It was meant to be an Asian-exclusive launch, essentially. I don’t think it’s anything saying we should get it, and not other countries, but we would like to have it along with you.

One of those lippies has my name in it. And I want it. And I’m mad they won’t be released in the US. And i’m entitled to be mad. Because I love MAC. So anything they come out with that I want and can’t get…I’m going to be mad about. I think we ALL can understand that.

MoOn Avatar

umm I’m not mad b/c it will be in Europe.its just I cant get it why mac do this? ” I just hate this policy” why not make all collections international, if they CARE about “MAC fans”
and we are happy for yaaa girls.. who live in Europe, lucky youuu ~dont misunderstand the issue ladies

Ju Avatar

Hi Christine,

If you want one or more lipsticks for this collection, write to me.

Normaly this is a permanent collection (I hope because Heatherette goes in the same time).

Hannah Avatar

I think its perfectly fair that Europe gets its own collection, the US pretty much gets everything first, and at a cheaper price. We get all collections like a month later and an eyeshadow in the UK is $20. I’m sure there’ll be many people in Europe who are willing to do CPs for those who can’t access this collection directly. Europe misses out on a lot of things that other countries get, especially the US, such as the Bendel lip products etc. So no, I don’t think that it’s fair that some people seem to be getting so irate about the fact that the US isn’t getting something for once. It’s generally how Europe and the UK feels most of the time.

Christine Avatar

To be fair, Bendel lip products were only available at like, two locations, and the price came out to be about $22 per lipstick/lipglass because shipping was $10-15 per package. It wasn’t as if it was readily available at every MAC store nationwide, same with other limitedly launched products – e.g. A-Mei, Paulina Rubia, etc. Euristocrats is being launched in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia! That’s a lot of territory and places!

I just want to address that nobody thinks that Europe doesn’t deserve or shouldn’t have an exclusive collection, I think readers are upset that they are going to miss out on a fabulous launch. It isn’t that they want it to be US only, but they want it to be US, too. No doubt they have no problems if international locations were able to get MAC launches at the same time or even price as the US. It is a complaint against MAC as a company and its policies, not fellow readers or MAC fans.

Hannah Avatar

Well when it does come out, I’ll be happy to do some CPs. We pay $22 per lipstick here as a flat rate, without shipping! So I don’t think that’s expensive really. I don’t know, I just think it’s nice that for once Europe and other continents get some attention, seeing as America gets the majority of collections and products and the other continents only get select things. (With the exception however of Asia, who seem to get everything!)

Hannah Avatar

And although Bendels was only available at like 3 locations, Heatherette here is online or selfridges exclusive, and there’s only about 4 selfridges. That’s a whole collection, not just two products.

Linda Avatar

Hey, I am really trying to figure out which name goes with which color. They are not matching up. Do you know anywhere I should look? Thanks.

Kharina Avatar

Ok, what do i need to do to unsubscribe so that my mail box is not bombarded with emails from this website. Don’t get me wrong, I like to read, but not every single posted note. In less than 3 hours my mailbox got full!

Ju Avatar

Hi Christine,

I’m really sorry, I forgot (it’s bad, I know).

So, the lipstick cost 17euros (yep, it’s expensive because TVA). It’s a regular collection, so no need to rush 😉

If you want some (or one), write-me on my mail 😉
