Lush Rub Rub Rub & Yummy Yummy Yummy Shower Gels Reviews

LUSH Rub Rub Rub & Yummy Yummy Yummy ($8.95 to $23.95) are two shower gels that recently came out. Rub Rub Rub’s scent can be compared to Lush’s Sakura bath bomb (which is a fresh, spring-blossom-day kind of scent). RRR is not just a shower gel, but more of shower gel meets shower scrub. It’s not a full-on shower scrub (it’s just not gritty enough), but the sea salt in it helps make this gel give you softer, smoother skin. I actually like that it’s got the lather of a shower gel, but some of the grit of a scrub, because I can still use my bath poof to lather up and get some extra exfoliation in.

Yummy Yummy Yummy is comprised mostly of strawberries, honey, and almond oil. I definitely can sense the strawberries in the product, but I wasn’t as impressed with the actual product. It is runnier than Lush’s other shower gels (and I’ve tried several!), and it doesn’t lather up as nicely as their other ones, either. I have seen some murmurings about the product separating, but I’ve had mine for over a month with no separation whatsoever. So as a shower gel, you’re better off with one like Flying Fox, but I found a better use for it–my hair. If you want a touch of strawberry smoothie scent in your hair, just shampoo your hair a little with this instead!

the smaller size bottle is 8.95$ and the really big bottle is 23.95$ 🙂

I wasn’t blown away by either of these scents BUT currently for Xmas they have Snow Fairy shower gel which is my all time favorite scent!!

Flying Fox has been my staple for quite some time. I just love it. Next time I visit Lush I’ll take a whiff of these two shower gels. But it’s hard to stray away from my Flying Fox! 🙂

I love YYY, and put up with the lack of lather for the delicious smell. It’s the colour of strawberry milk which is awesome! My YYY hasn’t seperated either. I love LUSH products and find that the sweet strawberry fragrance of YYY lingers on my skin all day as opposed to many other shower gels and shower jellies. I love it in my hair too! I find that it thickens up if you keep it in the fridge. The cool sensation is super refreshing in the mornings which is a bonus!

I went to Lush today with the intent of buying YYY and left with RRR instead. The associate had me do a little hand scrub with RRR and it left my hands feeling amazing! I am looking forward to using this in the shower tomorrow.

and that was at the time when the YYY & RRR n all those other new lush stuff came out
i got a free bottle of the big sized RRR , cuz there were only small sizes for the YYY
i tried RRR for the first couple of times n it made my skin very smooth
but then after it just made my skin sting.. n i didnt like that. the sea salt probably.. so i switched body washes
i sniiffed YYY n it was too sweet smelling for my taste.. n if u know me. i love sweet & girly stuff.. but woww it was too much. maybe it was old..
