There are enough shades here to make this palette very worth it for me, but I need to see the reviews before buying. I have never used any Lorac products.
I have the Lorac Pro Metals palette and it is sensational!
Update: I was shopping for clothes after work this evening and had the chance to check out this palette in person. OMG, it’s gorgeous! It seems like they made this palette specifically with me in mind. It swatched beautifully, so of course I bought it!
I can definitely see how people who like darker, bolder shades might not like it, but for someone like me, who prefers softer shades (MAC Kid and Malt are two of my favorite crease colors), this is a perfect palette. The colors might seem same-y, but they aren’t, at least not on me. There are a lot of different looks I will be able to do with it.
I’m curious to see how the review goes, because last time I bought a palette before the review, it didn’t fare so well here (though I still do like it a lot). But I really hope Christine likes this Lorac palette as much as I do.
How many of these shades are repeats from previous Mega Pro palettes? I think I recognize some repeats.
I literally read “Begonia” as “Bolgna” like baloney. I got so excited because that would be the only unique thing about this palette if that were the case. lol.
Yes! I just laughed so hard at your comment! I agree with the lack of uniqueness (is that a word?). Some of the shades look similar, or similar enough that they would look the same on the eyes once applied. This would be a nice palette for someone who doesn’t own these lighter neutral shades, but for most of us here (I think) we have these colors already.
You gave me a laugh! Even if LORAC were available in Canada (it no longer is), this is too pink toned/allergic reaction looking for me. But how I wish LORAC was still at Sephora in Canada.
Best pic yet of this palette. All other views make the first five in row 1 look barely differentiated. Lemming, but I can wait, in case you review it. Lorac and I got along all too well last year!
This is looking kinda sorta like the new Anastasia palette. Currently on a no-buy but I am enjoying these colors.
Zzzzz…oh, sorry, fell asleep on the keyboard looking at this. It is just so done.
This looks like an interesting palette and I hope you are able to review it Christine.
Idk which way I’m going to wind up going on this palette. Like NO clue whatsoever! If it turns out to be different enough from my ABH MR and anything else I may possibly have that’s in that vein, it could be a winner for me.
Interesting that you mentioned ABH MR because my initial feeling on this palette is that it is a softer, gentler version of MR, which is so perfect for my needs. This could very well become the very first eyeshadow palette to hit HG status!
Really shouldn’t be buying any palettes but I like the look of this. Digging its romantic vibe. Hope you can swatch!
Why do I even want this? I buy Lorac palettes and then rarely use them. There is nothing unique about this palette, yet when I look at it, I want it!
I’ve been SO GOOD ( with the exception of my Soft Glam, Latte palette, Natural Face what did I just do moment) working away at my mountain of palettes like it’s my job, resisting and limiting my exposure to temptation but it’s about time to set it off! I’m only human! ? I can’t resist anymore! ??
Depending on your review, this one and Norvina are already mine in my head. When I give in, Born to Run is coming home with me too.
Weak I know but it’s definitely better than a couple years ago when I was here posting about my new goodies every day. I’m still here everyday ? I’ve just been reining it in… I had already given myself permission to let ‘er rip come holiday season…. I’m just a going to be a little early ?
I really hope you’re planning to review this – please! I’ve put off buying Anastasia’s Soft Glam palette to see how this compares. It’s been a long time since I first saw the leaked photos and spotted the similarities between the two palettes. I’ve been very disciplined and patient, LOL! Your reviews are the gold standard <3
I don’t know why but this looks very muted to me; maybe it’s the stock photos?
This looks so pretty! Love the Lorac Pro’s. Not sure if I will get the Norvina but I will definitely be picking this one up
This reminds me of the ColourPop You Had Me At Hello palette.
