Recently these washes of green shadow across the lid have been trending and I have been dying to try it out! I don’t have much green eyeshadow in my collection (it’s not really my color for the face, something clashes with my natural cheek color? althought I love to wear it) but I managed to find a few laying in some palettes. One of my biggest issues with green is I always feel overly concious while wearing it on the eyes, more so than other vibrant colors I enjoy wearing (pop of blue or a pink/purple lid) so I wanted to blend it out and pair it with other colors in a way that would tone it down a bit.

I have issues with green e/s as well as I have a bit of olive in my light neutral complexion. A lot of greens makes me look sallow. I like what you have done here. It looks pulled together and yet casual. Very pretty. You’ve inspired me to try harder.
I feel like green can make the darkness surrounding my eyes seem even darker at times- it pulls out the blue-y tones more. Thank you so much! Also, I recently tried another more apple green pop-of-color look (warmer overall) and it was more flattering, could be something to consider.
