About this Look

If you like blues, you may enjoy this look! In person it’s slightly bluer than the turquoise seen here, but definitely a slight warmer, green-blue frosted-eye look.  A holiday look for anyone with the Jeffrey Star Blue Blood palette or similar, or like myself who has a “dupe” palette, namely the Makeup Revolution London Forever Flawless “Ice” Palette.

Step-by-Step Guide

Using Makeup Revolution London's Forever Flawless Ice Eyeshadow palette, plus a couple of Makeup Forever, MAC, & PuroBIO (an organic brand) singles, because I found that the Revolution palette didn't have a dark enough color for eyeliner for my taste, here's how I recreated this look:

From the Revolution palette

  • "Crystal" on the entire lid
  • "H2O", a beautful dark periwinkle blue, in the crease and upper crease over "Crystal"
  • "Titanic" in the outer corner to mid-lid on top of "Crystal"
  • Then "Glacier" in the inner corner of the lid to 1/3 lid on top of "Crystal"
  • "Icicle" between "Glacier" and "Titanic"
  • "Cool" over "H2O" under the brow (on the brow bone)

Then upper and lower eyelining with eyeshadow (but do as you prefer) beginning from the outer eye towards the inner eye (at least I do mine this way):

From the singles

  • Mix Makeup Forever M-100 Black with MAC "Midnight", a dark shimmery blue, and go from outer eye lining to the mid-eyeline area
  • Then on the eyeline (just under the lashes and slightly on the waterline), mix in a cool blue-grey frost, mine is PuroBIO in n°09 Shimmer, from the darker blue liner towards the inner eyeline area.
  • Finish with Revolutions' "Glacier" in the inner corners and"Cool" on top to highlight the inner corners.

I used blue and then black mascara (on the tips of the lashes) to finish the look.
