About this Look

I’ve always loved the Old Hollywood movie stars, so here’s my take on one of my favourites, Greta Garbo.

Step-by-Step Guide

FACE: I used NARS Tinted Moisturizer in Groenland (light 3), followed by Barbara Daly eye base and Skin Food banana concealer. This was set with Collection sheer loose powder in 2 Translucent. I also applied the darker of the two blushes from the Charlotte Tilbury Look In A Palette to the apples of my cheeks.

EYES: These were dusted all over with one of the paler shades from the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette in Natural Beauty. The socket line was filled in with the brown shade in the top right hand corner of the palette. I outlined the upper lid with a black eye liner pencil from Cargo Cosmetics, and went over this to fill in any 'gaps' and to smooth out the line with Face Stockholm eye shadow in Nastan Svart. I applied a minimum of three coats of No 7 Midnight Lash mascara, and my eyebrows were filled in and extended with Face Stockholm eye shadow in Morkbrun.

LIPS: These were outlined with Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Whiskey as I didn't have a suitable lip liner (the cupid's bow was rounded off as was the style in the 1930s), then I filled in my lips with Ulta Silky Wear Lipcolor in Twilight Port.
