Sunset smokey look, inspired by Densitlava on youtube
About this Look
I was inspired by a youtuber, who created this look. It really looked like the sun was setting on her eyelids. It looked stunning, but I had none of the prducts she used. So, I challenged myself somewhat and recreated this look with I had in my stash.
Step-by-Step Guide
I started out with Nyx jumbo pencil in milk all over the lid, then defined the crease with the orange shade from the Huda Beauty obsessions palette in electric. Next I went right under the orange with the hot pink shade from the same palette.
I used the Marc Jacobs matte gel eyeliner in (Grape) vine and first drew into the inner and outer corners of the eyes, then smudged it next, I used the red shade, and the orange shade from the same palette , one next to the other, overlapping a bit and blending the shades into each other a bit, so that, all the shades flow smoothly, the centre of the lid, I packed with the yellow shade.
Next, I used the shade delirious from the UD full spectrum palette over the purple eyeliner to darken it up and intensify it some more.
I applied the Laura Mercier flawless fusion ultralongwear concealer on my under eyes, and set it with some cover FX perfect setting powder, then repeated the same steps for the lower lashline, then lined my waterline with the Marc Jacobs gel highliner in blacquer.
I appled my falsies, then proceeded to do the rest of my makeup.
