About this Look

I decided to challenge myself to make a look using just Anastasia’s Subculture Palette.

Step-by-Step Guide

Eyes: All from Anastasia's Subculture palette. Dawn for transition, New Wave to deepen crease, and All Star in outer 1/3 of mobile lid. Be very careful about overblending, these shadows do not play well if the blending gets carried away. Next I used concealer (Tarte Shape Tape) to do a half cut crease, and patted Electric over the concealer I laid down on the lid. I finished my eyes with All Star under the lower lash line, slightly smoked out with New Wave. I used cube as my brow bone highlight (I love this color to highlight the brow bone!). Topped my lashes with Chanel Le Volume. I highlighted my inner tearducts with Anastasia's Moonstone.

Cheeks could be any warm toned bronzer or blush. I used a mix of Mac's Pleasure Model and Give Me Sun, topped with Anastasia's Moonstone.

Lips: Even though I know we can use eyeliner as lipliner, this is the first time I actually did it, and wow what a difference it made! I lined my lips with Urban Decay's Anatomy eye liner, filled in with Urban Decay's Epigram vice lipstick, and topped with NAR's lipgloss in Aragon. Up until I did this look, I had not been able to make Epigram or Aragon really work for me. By starting with a bold eye liner and combining Epigram with Aragon, I was able to create a lip look I absolutely love.

I really love this look on you Tammy. The lip combo is really pretty and highlights your eyes. I have Epigram but honestly don’t use it much as it pulls very brown on me and it isn’t a look I love on myself. I purchased it because it looked so good on everyone I had seen it on but just doesn’t work for me and my coloring.
