See the Light
About this Look
I’ve had the Green Day shirt I’m wearing here and in my Greenwich Punk look for about a year. In the past month I’ve acquired a few copper makeup items, and I got the idea to use them all with this shirt and my Kat Von D Basket Case eyeliner. I borrowed this look’s name from the title of a Green Day song off 2009’s 21st Century Breakdown album.
Step-by-Step Guide
Face: I applied L'Oreal True Match Lumi Cushion C3 Creamy Natural foundation all over my face with the included puff. I dabbed Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin 10 Ivory concealer onto my dark circles and blemishes with the included doe-foot wand. I set the foundation and concealer with CoverGirl Clean Normal Skin 120 Creamy Natural Pressed Powder, using the included puff. I used an e.l.f. Professional Blush Brush to apply Nars Satellite of Love Highlighting Blush to my cheekbones, the apples of my cheeks, and my chin and nose. I blended the blush across the apples by 1. moving the brush in a horizontal position, 2. moving the brush in a vertical position, 3. stroking my cheeks diagonally with my pinky finger, and 4. moving the brush in a circular motion. I blended the blush from my cheekbones by brushing it downward.
Eyes: I used an e.l.f. Professional Eyeshadow Brush to apply the copper shade from the Revlon Color Charge Color Collage eyeshadow palette to my upper lids from lashline to crease and Urban Decay Midnight Cowboy eyeshadow from crease to brow bone. I used the small brush from the Color Charge palette to dot Thrash from the Urban Decay Electric palette onto the center of my lids and apply it to the crease. I drew Kat Von D x Billie Joe Armstrong Basket Case Anti-Precision eyeliner on my upper lashline and the outer third of my lower lashline and smudged it with an e.l.f. Smudge Eye Sponge. I applied Tom Ford TFX24-Copper Extrême Lash & Brow Tint to my top and bottom lashes.
Lips: I applied Lotta Luv Cinnabon lip balm on my lips and topped it with Kat Von D Studded Kiss Thin Lizzy lipstick, both straight from the tube.
