About this Look

A skin-focused and natural design, quick and easy. Plan was to achieve a demure, humble “no makeup” ingenue look that I can wear anywhere including church, office, hayride, hiking.

Step-by-Step Guide

EYEBROWS

Natural. I did nothing to them, not even pluck, shape, groom, or use clear gel.

EYES

I started by applying, then smudging, grey kohl eyeliner on both my upper and lower lash lines. Next, I applied E.l.f. coffee & cream duo eyeshadows, with the coffee brown color on the lid, and the cream color as highlighter under eyebrow arch. I wore Jordana Black Mascara on lashes.

FACE

After I finished applying my eye makeup, I applied origins Quick, Hide! concealer in their lightest shade, to cover up my dark undereye circles and 2 red spots on my face (probably mosquito bites, since I don't get acne). Next, I dusted a light amount of Palladio translucent rice powder over the concealer, with a small round powder brush, to set the concealer and prevent it from moving.

I applied a stick blush in a peachy color named Hibiscus onto the apples of cheeks and blended it well with fingertips up along the cheekbone, in a diagonal direction toward the temples.  I followed that blush with a brownish-copper E.l.f. contour powder, in hollows of my cheeks, using a flat blush brush.

I used the white/cream color in the E.l.f. coffee & cream creme eyeshadow duo, to highlight my cheek bones, down the bridge of the nose, and on my chin, right below the middle of my bottom lip.

To set everything in and blend it (& also tone down cheek color) I dusted and buffed my entire face with Palladio Oil Absorbing rice powder in Translucent.

LIPS

I applied the Hibiscus blush stick to lower lip only, then rubbed lips together. Next, I applied a light coat of a coral tinted, transparent, lip gloss by Milani to top lip only, then rubbed lips together.
