About this Look

I’m a bit daring, so take my recommendation to where this from daytime (work) to nighttime (event) in perspective of your tastes. ;). This look shimmers and sparkles, but yet seems muted enough to pass daytime wear for me (and especially is you wear eyeglasses.)

Step-by-Step Guide

I made another colored-coded overlay to help you recreate the look.  A note again that it has more sparkle, color richness and reflection of light than in my photos. Enjoy!

Face:

DARK BLONDE Moist Foundation in 03 (a budget Danish brand I believe, but that really works well.  Like a cheap verison of PMG's foundation for me; however, it's thicker, so I used a stipping brush to make it sheer like Pat's)

NARS Tinted Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base in Medium (because ND's shadows seem to work better for me on a base)

Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in)Place Flawless Wear Concealer in 3C Mediul (Cool) (after putting on my eye shadows and dusting with a light powder to remove slight fallout)

Eyes:

In the order that I did it (however, you can do as you prefer; note that the squiggles mean blend into each other, though we know it all has to be blended LOL!)...

Ochre circle = ND Mini Gold Palette LODGE (283CP) (A beautiful base color for the lid if you're PMG Foundation 13 or MAC NC 37 like me)

Brown arch = ND Mini Gold Palette DARK SEPIA (47P) (Use on the outer "V" and inner-upper crease area. This was the only color that I found needed a bit of work to build up to my smoky preference level)

Gold squiggle center lid = ND Mini Gold Palette D'OR (284M) (Lovely green-gold, sheer shimmer-sparkle shadow)

Khaki "V" on the outer corner = ND Mini Gold Palette BIA (285CP) (Added a nice unexpected pop of khaki green to the look)

Lighter green squiggle on the outer corner = ND Mini Gold Palette ANTHEIA (286DC) (Blended into the gold though I later went back over with the gold when I finished the lid)

Pink squiggle on the inner lid = ND Mini Retro Palette GALAXIA (112K) (Shimmer-glitter pink blended from the gold to the inner eye corner)

Beige inner "V3 & arch in the inner corner = Marc Jacobs Style Eye-Con #7, 206 The Lolita Palette #4 (center in the palette; a beige-champagne sparkle that needs a fixing medium to pop and hold)

Pink arch on the outer brow = ND Mini Retro Palette VINTAGE TAUPE (303CM) (Matte pink that needs to be well blended-overlapped partly with the ANTHEIA on the upper crease)

Pinkish-beige arch in the inner brow to inner eye corner = Marc Jacobs Eyeconic 820 Steel(etto) Palette RULE (Blended into VINTAGE TAUPE and then I like to take it down the side of my nose to the inner corner of the eye)

As eyeliner, I use eyeshadows almost exclusively eyeshadows...

Mauve line from the lower inner corner to mid eye = Marc Jacobs Eyeconic 820 Steel(etto) Palette SPARKLING

Plum line from mid eye to lower outer corner = Marc Jacobs Eyeconic 820 Steel(etto) Palette JUNGLE (Blended, of course into SPARKLING then taken in an under eye catwing effect, which I prefer perhaps due to more mature eyes)

Brown line upper lid liner = ND Mini Gold Palette DARK SEPIA (47P) (Using the same liner brush with JUNGLE still on it I added DARK SEPIA on the entire top lid, going from darker to lighter handed as I approached the inner eye corner)

Contour-Blush:

ND's All Over Glow face & body shimmer in 02 medium (nose, cheeks and jaw line; this powder just works for my complexion! Ever so brownish-rose.)

Lips:

Givenchy Gloss Interdit Vinyl in 06 (a thick glosser mauve, that I caught on sale and am glad!)
