Experimental blues
About this Look
I wanted to work with some new blue products on both eyes and lips, for a fun, creative look.
Step-by-Step Guide
I applied MAC Paint Sublime Nature in and above my crease and buffed it out with a synthetic blending brush.
Then MAC Paint Win to lids with a flat synthetic brush; when nearly dry, blended it up onto the hood with a small synthetic blending brush, then blended it out more with the larger brush I used with the tan color (having wiped most of the tan off first).
Then lightly applied a little bit of Sahpyre with a fluffy blending brush to the center of the lid and the hood.
Oops! I forgot to mention that I tightlined with Marc Jacobs fineliner in Code Blue, and lined my lower waterline with MAC Kwajal in Flourish Me Bold.
Lips: Indigo-go all over, blotted and repeated; a small amount of Ice Follies added to the center of upper and lower lip with a brush (this smeared a bit after a fairly short time, unfortunately).

I love this!
Thank you! I don’t think the lighting in my featured photo did me any favors, though — I’ll have to work on that!
Such a cool look, Fran! I love it! ?
Thank you, Nancy!
Really nice how you pulled such wild blues into a ombre blend on your eyes. Gorgeous full lips in matte plum-blue!! Stunning look with your rimless eyewear and scarf.
Thank you, Gina! One reason why I do such wild eye looks is that they have to be a bit intense to even get seen in real life situations, with the way my lids are so hidden 🙂
You look beautiful! I love this look!!!
Rocks!
The blues look great on you, and I just love this whole look!
Three cheers for all things blue!!!
Way to work those lips!
You look gorgeous! Inspired me to experiment more with colors
