About this Look

This is a makeup look based off of British Steel by Judas Priest. It is part of a challenge where I do looks based off of albums I own. This one is mostly based off of the album art but I feel like it appropriately reflects the sound of the album too.

Step-by-Step Guide

Face: After priming, I applied the tinted moisturiser with a damp sponge to my whole face. Then I used my Fenty concealer under my eyes and on my chin, blending using the same damp sponge. I then applied the colourpop concealer to my eyelids, softening the edges but leaving it white as a base for my eyeshadow. I then very very gingerly used the dipbrow gel to colour correct my eyebrows to match my dyed hair. Next, I apply the blush stick to my temples and blend to the sides of my face and under eye, avoiding my cheeks where my face is naturally quite flushed, to instead diffuse the colour to the rest of my face. Then I apply my bronzer to my natual contour, temples, crease of my eyes, and flatly under my chin to my jawline. Then I gently sweep my highlighter on my browbone, cupids bow and the highs of my cheeks, without dipping back into the pan.

Eyes: I apply my eyeshadow primer, set it with my setting powder (I have extremely oily eyelids), build up colour in my crease using "Made to Last", Apply "Details" to my undereye lashline, use the silver color from the palette to the middle of my lid, blending out sheerer to the edges of my eyes. Using a pencil brush I apply "Reckless" to my inner and outer corner, blending with the same brush I used to apply the brown tones. Then I double down on the outer corner with "Roulette", darkening the area where I plan to place my "wing". Blend again until desired gradient is achieved. Then I top with the white duochrome shade on the middle of my eye, lid and lower lash line. I use "Venus" to line under my eye, tight line, get the area in between my lashes and scrub where I'm plannning to place my felt tip liner. I then go over that line with my felt tip. I then curl and apply mascara, black to top and red to bottom.

Lips: I line with Bullchic and top with Perversion.
