Black Cherry Lipstick
About this Look
My go-to dark lipcolor this winter has been Revlon Black Cherry! I pair it with a lipliner from Jordana called Cabernet. Cabernet is quite dark on me and I didn’t want to go all-out the particular day I took this photo, so I only applied it around the lipline and blended it inwards.
For foundation, I wore Revlon Colorstay for normal to dry skin in Ivory, mixed with their Photoready Skinlights Illuminator in Bare Light for a less matte finish (and less pink tone), and set under my eyes with Revlon’s translucent Colorstay powder. The blush is Milani’s Dolce Pink Baked Blush, with a little Wet ‘n’ Wild Shimmer Palette in Rose Champagne Glow on my cheekbones to highlight. Nyx Hot Singles Eyeshadow in Happy Hour was lightly used to contour.
On my eyes, there’s also Happy Hour lightly blended into the crease, with a little white eyeshadow on the browbones and inner corner (the name rubbed off long ago, sorry!). I lined my eyes with Wet ‘n’ Wild’s black liquid liner, applied Maybelline’s Volum Express Mega Plush mascara, and filled my brows with e.l.f.’s brow kit in medium.
And under all of that is Nyx’s dark circle concealer in fair, to cover the purpleness in my eye area.
