An Inadvertent Rainbow Eye ft. Clionadh Eyeshadows
About this Look
Here’s a look that turned out to be a rainbow-like in color placement, though it wasn’t in my head to do so until I placed the teal on the outer lid. Once I saw all the lid colors together, I added a pop of purple on the lower lash line to complete the rainbow effect!
Step-by-Step Guide
- Inner tearduct: Pixie Ring
- Inner lid: Midnight Sun
- Middle of lid: Wildfire
- Outer lid: Forest Heart
- Crease: Vortex
- Deep crease: Ursa
- Above crease: Yukon
- Browbone: Klondike Gold Rush
- Lower lash line: Perversion, Sky Lights

Such lovely looks you are creating with the Clionadh shadows! I may end up picking up a few (or a bunch) of these.
Thank you, Beth!
Keep this up, Christine, and I’m going to have to get out the smelling salts (do they even still MAKE smelling salts?). Faint-inducingly beautiful again!
Haha! 😉
How opposite and lightful these, as contrasted with, say, ABH rainbow mattes. The Clionadhs are from Venus and the ABH rainbow mattes are from Mars. (Meaning warlike, not masculine.). This look is so subtle and ethereal for a rainbow look. Lovely, Christine.
Thank you, KJH!
What a beautiful eye look!
Thanks a lot, Seraphine!
That is breathtaking!
Thank you, Amy!
