This looks great with your hair color! Thanks for the comparison.
Thank you!
So, how do the formulas compare? Do you give this one the same grade as the original?
Hi Ashley,
I just started testing it – hence the look here 🙂
Ah, gotcha. Will stay tuned. Thank you for all that you do!! 🙂
Hmm… If I had to nitpick, the eyeshadow using the new palette looks more muted and slightly darker, while the original is more vibrant.
The biggest difference (and it shows in the look) is Panjin – it’s much redder and more mid-tone in the original but in the 2018 palette, it’s deeper and almost “cooler” in comparison (so that it ended up looking more berry-ish on).
This look is, literally, FIRE.
Haha!
Wow, this is amazing. I’m going to see if I can do something similar with what I have. Same colour eyes, cooler/ slightly paler skin, pale blue eyes: I’ve played with orange a bit recently, but I think if I could do something like this I could really make my eyes pop.
Thank you, Amy! Fingers crossed for you 🙂
First thing I noticed was that the “new” Sunset seems to apply a bit deeper with the mattes in the crease. Not sure if it’s a pigmentation thing, as in more saturated, or what. Personally, I may prefer the new one! ?️
