Looks - Dior Goldrush with Goldfever Eye, Guerlain Meteorites

I decided I wanted to play with some of my new goodies I’m testing out right now! You know how I was a bit disappointed in Bobbi Brown’s Nude & Lip palette? Well, Dior’s Goldfever Quint was much more up my alley. Given, they’re frostier and shimmery shadows compared to the BB palette, I was able to create an actual LOOK out of it! Plus, the soft white gold? Divine.

I used MAC Soft Ochre paint pot on lid, Dior Goldfever Quint center shadow on inner lid, Dior Goldfever Quint bottom left shadow on middle of lid, Dior Goldfever Quint top right shadow on outer lid, Dior Goldfever Quint top left shadow on outer crease, Dior Goldfever Quint bottom right shadow on outer crease and lid, and MAC Black Funk/Pop Blue dual edge liner on lower lash line. I had MAC Brun eyeshadow to fill in brows and MAC Plushblack plushlash mascara on lashes. I wore MAC True Romantic blush with Guerlain Mythic Parfait Pressed Meteorites on cheeks. I had MAC Cherish lipstick (like Fleshpot) with MAC Style Minx lipglass on my lips.

I’m trying to figure out how to recreate this look with MAC shadows. Care to be of service, Christine? 😛 Maybe Mothbrown, Nylon, Trax… not sure what could substitute the top right and bottom left… Honesty? I don’t have it but it looks similar. Hrm.

Wonderful look, as always! And you’re right, it does look a lot more impressive than the one you did with the BB shadows.

A question: how come you almost never use eye-liner on your lid? Not that your looks lack something because of it, it’s just that it made me wonder. 😀

Hi Christine,

How do you fill in your eyebrows with eyeshadown? Can you tell me what technique you use and what brush you use?

Thanks.

Christine, adore the lips! And I love hows you used the blue liner on the lower lash line. You are amazing at this! You know, your blog (and your tutorials) were the first thing that actually started me off on the e/s madness? Thanks to your wizardry with e/s I’m always repeating your words crease/ outer lash line etc etc when I’m applying e/s to my eyes!
