Kind of funny, because I wore this look to my parents’ house on Saturday, and my mom described it was, “Bitchy.” As in, I looked mean, like a bitch. Coming from my mom, it was about the last thing I thought she said. (She didn’t mean it badly, and I didn’t take offense!)

I used Mega-Rich pigment (LE) on lid, Goldmine eyeshadow on inner lid, Expensive Pink eyeshadow on middle of lid, Antiqued eyeshadow on outer lid and crease, Goldmine eyeshadow above crease, Say Yeah eyeshadow (LE) on brow, Goldmine eyeshadow on lower lash line, Graphblack technakohl on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. I wore Ambering Rose blush on cheeks with Dior Amber Diamond SkinShimmer to highlight. I had Wild ‘Bout You lipstick (LE) with Real Desire lipglass (LE) and Venetian lustreglass on my lips.

That’s funny that your mom thought you looked like a bitch. I bet it’s the red lips and the red in the eye shadow. Hilarious, though.

And you look great. This is probably the best look you’ve done in a while, and that’s saying a lot since your looks are always great.

This is hot! My clerk at CVS had a similar look yesterday. I thought it was a bit much for the time and place, LOL but that’s always the case with her and her makeup, but it’s always good.

Anyway, I was too shy to ask her what she used, so I’m SO glad you posted this.

I really like it… it just doesn’t have a lot of color to it, honestly, so I think it would be fine on a NC15. I’m NC30 and it more or less seems to deposit the right amount of shimmer on my cheeks — it works for me like MSFs seem to work for everyone else!

I love the lips. And the whole look is great too. But, and maybe its because there’s so much so much red or maybe the way your hair is pulled back, your eyebrows look too severe and obvious, they look too heavy for your face. I think you might’ve done a little too mcuh eyebrow pencil or powder. Everything else is great though.

when I opened the page the first words that came to mind was “in charge” and being painfully blunt myself I can see how your mom might have said that, hehehe.
I love it, looks very put together and love the lipcolor. I might print you and take you to the make up counter w/ me so I won’t forget what I’m looking for (like I always do)

That’s funny about the “bitch” comment. My asian grandmother said something like that to me once about my makeup… Substitute “bitch” for “whore”. I was like, “You’re just jealous grandma.” LOL

I’m an advocate for strong brows, so I’m surprised I’m saying this, but I noticed in your last few looks.. I think your brows are actually too thick. I think it looks awkward because you don’t line your top lash line… I would line the top outer lash line, and NOT the bottom, if you want to keep the bigger brows. That said, you are beauuutiful as always. & I agree with what someone else said, not bitchy, vampy! Good for a different look.

*LOL* That is too funny about your mom’s comments. I don’t agree but I guess I can sort of see what she means… The look exudes confidence because, like the above person said, it’s fierce. It’s bold, it’s beautiful, and it stands out. But to me, that’s not “bitchy,” that’s awesome. 😀 Besides, you can totally carry it! I love these colours together and I absolutely LOVE the lip combo–WOW. It’s one of my favourites yet! <3

I love the eye look – I would definitely wear that. I don’t think the lips are my thing though. I think I’d wear more of a brownish/slightly red color, softer, closer to the shirt kind of lip rather than the super bright stuff.
