Look - Neutral with a Peach Twist
This is a look from a couple of weeks ago 🙂 I’m sick with some sort of nasty cold, so I’ve not been so keen on wearing makeup these past few days. Hopefully the bug will move on to someone else to plague soon enough. I hope everybody’s week has been treating them well–two more days ’til the weekend, yay!
Happy April Fool’s Day 🙂
You will need the following…
- Eyes: Soft Ochre paint pot (neutral base), Rose Blanc eyeshadow (white-yellow), Texture eyeshadow (light reddish brown), Shroom eyeshadow (neutral highlighter), Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Stash (antique gold), Plushlash mascara (black)
- Cheeks: Honey High-Light Powder (peachy-gold)
- Lips: Chanel Monte Carlo lipstick (sheer coral), Chanel Tangerine Dream Aqualumiere Gloss (coral)
- Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 226 (fluffy crease brush), 214 (smudge brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
- Substitutes: Rose Blanc = Nylon
Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Soft Ochre paint pot all over the lid as the base. On the lid, apply Rose Blanc eyeshadow using the 239. Apply Texture eyeshadow to the crease with the 226. Sweep Shroom eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Urban Decay Stash Liner on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Honey High-Light Powder using the 129. Apply Monte Carlo lipstick to lips, and then top with Chanel Tangerine Dream Aqualumiere Gloss for color and shine.

Thank you, Sarah!
This was from before I was sick, lol! I hope you’re feeling better!
So pretty and summery… I love wearing warmer and more neutral colors when the summer starts to roll around, so this one will be a great one to try out!!!
Thanks so much, Wilcoa! Can’t wait for the summer 🙂
super pretty!
Thank ya, Heather!
You look so pretty! Ever thought about adding some highlights to the front of your hair but just a -FEW- like 6 or 8 strand of hair NOT going crazy lol. I think honey golden brown would look amazing on you. Love the look and I hope you feel better soon 🙂 Ive been into coral peach too been thinking about getting coppering 🙂 You reading my mind hmm.
I’ve thought about it, but I’m so cheap and haven’t wanted to spend that kind of money on my hair, lol!
Since your hair is dark, I advise just a few strands like on the bang part/few on the sides and a few shades lighter than your natural hair color. Nothing Crazy cause then it would look fake 🙂 I know some salons here charge by strands. Your pleasing to the eye with or without highlights anyway 🙂
Thanks for the suggestions 🙂
Christine, this look is GORGEOUS!! Love this on you! Hope you feel better soon :).
Thanks, Carolyn! I appreciate it!
You look good with any makeup…!
Thanks, Leann 🙂

Thanks, Faiza! 🙂
Love this look!
Happy to hear, Lisa 🙂 Thanks!
Personally, I think you look best in simple makeup — you have a naturally lovely face, so less is more on you! Get well soon!
Aw, thank you Izzy!! 🙂 I hope to get well soon too, lol!
This is a great look! Sometimes its nice to wear a neutral look.
Thanks, Christy! I love neutrals 😀
Your cheeks look glowy, I love it!
Thanks, Hanna!
That looks awesome on you! 🙂 The highlight powder seems to be more pigmented, I definitely have to check that out. 🙂
Thanks, Iliana! 🙂 It’s pigmented enough to show up at least a little bit on me!

Thanks, Ice! 🙂 You’re so sweet, you definitely made me feel better!
Sorry to hear you aren’t feeling well, Christine. Hope you feel better soon. This is a really pretty, simple look. I just got Texture a while ago, so given me some more inspiration for using it (trying it out with different looks at the moment). I’ve used Texture with Goldmine or Flip on the lid and Texture in the crease – it’s a really pretty, simple look too.
Me too! 🙂
Thanks, Saira! Goldmine is great with Texture. I almost used Flip in this look, how funny!
Love this look, so simple and pretty!
Thanks, Gio 😀
You have the most striking heart-shaped face! I have such envy for your beautiful cheeks, and that Honey powder looks amazing! I love your bright looks best, but thanks for posting some neutral ones from time to time to help motivate those of us who are no good at neutrals 🙂 Hey, any suggestions for a MAC (or any slightly more affordable!) lipgloss that might be similar to that beautiful Chanel color?
Thanks, Daphne! 🙂 You could try Lychee Luxe instead for the lipgloss. It’s not quite as orange, but it’s the closest thing! I’d say Lil’ Sizzler lip gelee (LE) might come close, too.
YAY I LOVE!! Hope you get better soon 🙁
Thanks, Charlene 😀
The peach/pinkish look is so in. Too Faced’s brightening blushes are the cutest things ever and the papa don’t peach and pinch my petals look absolutely adorable on the skin.
Thanks so much 🙂
I’ll have to look at the new Too Faced blushes!
Love it so much that it inspired me to wear eyeshadows again. Been so lazy lately 🙂
Awww! I am honored 🙂 I gotta wear it more often myself, I am lazy too!
i absolutely adore this look on you. you look stunning! =)
Aw, thank you, Candice!
How did you use the MAC Honey High-Light Powder from the Naked Honey Collection when it’s not even out yet?!
A friend gave me one!
Was the mac rose blanc a limited edition? Beccause they didnt have it anymore.. do you have any other suggestions for a similar color?
I’m not Christine, but I think Nylon is the best substitute for Rose Blanc (which was LE).
Yes, it was 🙁 Try Nylon!
