Look - MAC Sugarsweet Look with Aquavert & Lemon Chiffon

Another Sugarsweet look! Getting tired of them yet? I wore this look yesterday, when my boyfriend and I met my parents and sister for dim sum. 🙂 Hope your Monday is off to a good start!

You will need the following…

  • Eyes: Lemon Chiffon shadestick (pale white-yellow), Sugarshot eyeshadow (frosty white), Aquavert eyeshadow (pale green-teal), Club eyeshadow (dark green-brown-gray), Shroom eyeshadow (soft neutral highlighter), Eve Pearl Liquid Liner (black), Urban Decay Underground 24/7 Stash Liner (dark gold/brown), Plushlash mascara (black)
  • Cheeks: Chanel In Love blush (dirty pink), Refined mineralize skinfinish (peach)
  • Lips: Touch lipstick (light brown with red), Palatial lustreglass (sheer hot pink)
  • Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 226 (fluffy crease brush), 214 (smudge brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
  • Substitutes: Lemon Chiffon = Baselight; Sugarshot = Phloof!; Aquavert = Juxt+Shimmermoss; Refined = Soft & Gentle; Touch = Brew

Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Lemon Chiffon shadestick all over the lid as the base. On the inner lid, apply Sugarshot eyeshadow using the 239. Apply Aquavert eyeshadow to the middle and outer portion of the lid. Darken crease with Club eyeshadow using the 226, lightly blending towards the outer lid. Sweep Shroom eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Urban Decay Stash Liner on lower lash line, Eve Pearl Liquid Liner on upper lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Chanel In Love blush using the 129, then highlight with Refined mineralize skinfinish with the 188. Apply Touch lipstick to lips, and then top with Palatial lustreglass for color and shine.

Christine – i think the wrong description went up with this post. Your title says this is an Aquavert & Lemon Chiffon look & the pic shows just that, but the listing of what shadows you used does not say these colors. It actually says you used Stars n’ Rockets, Butternutty, Ransom Line & others but there doesn’t seem to be any purple in the look. Was this an oops?!?!?! LOL:)

I do think it may have been a boo-boo cause the listing of products used says Sweet Thing l/s w/ Tasty l/g, but the description says Lollipop Loving l/s w/ Chanel Aqualumiere. I don’t mean to pick out the error, I am just anxious to know exactly what you did use for this look, because I LOVE it. It is soooo pretty & i want to dupe it real bad.

Hehe, I was just gonna say what Nicole said 🙂 But about the look in general, I like the green and gray together. I don’t think I would have thought to match those up. Bravo! Very nice look!! The winged liner is great! No full face shot?

this is such a pretty look! aquavert is such a gorgeous green! and i really wish i knew how to do that with my eyeliner lol! i’m practicing but it’s hard to make both eyes look even! 🙁

This is just gorgeous!!! My biggest problem is getting the placement in the outer crease to look good (and match the other eye lol). It either ends up not showing at all, or it’s so out there I have to wipte it off with makeup remover, and then it doesn’t look natural.

How do you like the Eve Pearl liner?

Christine Avatar

Thanks, Andrea! Hmm, try going lighter rather than darker, that way you can sort of fix it without having to remove it 🙂

Or else apply the color to the back of your hand and kind of create the look there, so you don’t have to spend as much time!

I like her liner a lot! Very easy to use.

Beautiful look! I should’ve bought Club. I agree with pp’s … I never would’ve thought to pair Aquavert with a grey. It’s pretty!

wow love this aquavert combo look that u did. club is one of my favorite colors, its always been so much more brown on me, i love how u made it more brownish grayish!!! christine, u described the lemon chiffon shadestick to be a pale white yellow, i have overcast shadestick which is a shiny white, would it be pretty similar?

It’s nice to see you in a different lip colour, looks pretty 🙂 Hope you don’t mind if I give you a tip – if you wing your eyeliner, the line should match up with your bottom lash line, as if you extended the line out from there. Know what I mean? Give it a try, hope you like the result!

Kella Avatar

Thought I would add: -as if you extended the line out from your bottom lash line, *pointing towards the end of your brow*.. that may make it easier to understand. 🙂

Kella Avatar

Yup! Looking at you, for your eyes, the line should bipass the crease basically, when your eyes are open. If I were doing your makeup, I would have you keep your eyes open when doing the wing of your liner, and I always start at the END of the wing and draw towards the middle of the eye. That way you can get the position perfect.

This looks so good! Now I’m tempted to go back and get Aquavert. I’m not one to wear a lot of greens, but this makes me want to get it.

I was looking for green Sugarsweet looks to do for my MAC interview in a couple days and this is definitely close to what I’m looking for. Thanks, Christine!
