Look - Bright and Bold Greens & Teals
Another look 🙂 I really should be patient and space out my looks, since I don’t do my makeup everyday, but I can’t resist. I must admit, I’m terrible at holding things back, LOL! I tried false eyelashes again, and while I was able to make them work, it didn’t go quite as smoothly (nor as quickly) as the day before. I definitely need to throw this pair of 7s away, though, because one is totally shot! (By the way, still wearing Korres’ Watermelon Tinted Moisturizer in this look.)
Happy Monday! Hope your day is amazing!
You will need the following…
- Eyes: Soft Ochre paint pot (neutral beige base), Kelly Green pigment (medium green), Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow (green-cast gold), Bio-Green eyeshadow (medium green), Prussian eyeshadow (dark blue), Atlantic Blue eyeshadow (bright violet-blue), Femme-fi eyeshadow (highlighter), #7 lashes (false eyelashes), Shade fluidline (dark forest green), Urban Decay Graffiti 24/7 Liner (green), Plushlash mascara (black)
- Cheeks: Laura Geller Golden Apricot blush (peachy-pink), Dior Amber Diamond Skin Shimmer (bronzy highlighter)
- Lips: Brave New Bronze lipstick (pinky nude), Tartlette lipglass (coral)
- Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 226 (fluffy crease brush), 219 (pointed crease brush), 214 (smudge brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
- Substitutes: Femme-fi = Shroom; Brave New Bronze = Velvet Teddy; Tartlette = Lychee Luxe
Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Soft Ochre paint pot all over the lid as the base with the 249. With the 239, apply Kelly Green pigment with water-based mixing medium on the lower lid. On the inner lid, pack Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow on using the 239. Apply Bio-Green eyeshadow to the middle and outer portions of the lid. Darken crease with Atlantic Blue eyeshadow using the 226, then deepen with Prussian eyeshadow with the 219. Sweep Femme-fi eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Urban Decay Graffiti Liner on lower lash line, and Shade fluidline on the upper lash line using the 209. Apply #7 lashes to upper lash line, then lightly apply Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Laura Geller Golden Apricot blush using the 129, then highlight with Dior Amber Diamond Skin Shimmer with the 188. Apply Brave New Bronze lipstick to lips, and then top with Tartlette lipglass for color and shine.

Hi Christine! I love love this look! at first when i saw the eye photo, i chickened out thinking that it’s too bold for my taste, but when i saw the full face look, whoa! GORGEOUS…i have to try it out soon:) and i love the blush on you…i swear i’m dying to have that LG Golden Apricot Blush but I don’t think it’s available here in saudi:( Do u know any substitute from MAC? Thanks!:)
Oh yeah, definitely give a shot, Ice! I think you could rock it 🙂 You should try Springsheen or Peachykeen instead!
Thank you so much!
Lovely! I agree that these blue/green looks suit you perfectly. 🙂
Yay! Thanks, Kirstin!
It’s exciting to see you do all these awesome looks at once. But then when you stop it’s like noooo. 😉
Thanks, Mopan!
LOL!
This is gorgeous! Your smile is so cute in that photo.
Aw, thanks Jenni 😀
Oooh, this is a really pretty look! I love green shadows paired with peachy cheeks and coral lips. And every time you wear Tartlette, it makes me want it more lol.
Thanks, Sasha! I am all about peachy cheeks 😉
Tartlette is great, but you can always substitute with Lychee Luxe. They’re SO similar!
Hot!
Thanks, Tekoa!
So pretty! Love this look – the greens go so well with the coral lipstick. And wow, that tinted moisturizer looks fab on your – your skin is positively glowing!
Thanks a lot, Catherine! 🙂
I love this look. Can’t wait to read your Korres review.
Thanks, Laura!!
So pretty! I’m so sold on brave new bronze!!

wow! what a look. too bold for me, but i’m inspired enough to try it. looks like it can be warmed down with golds, bronzes.
and you’re so, so gorgeous that i hate you! :p
You should try it, Sarah! I really hope you do 🙂 It’s bold, but yet not. I swear it!
Thank you 😛
I love this look so much. Summer summer summer, how I can’t wait for thee! Is Tartlette lipglass LE? That lip combo is calling out to me.
Thanks so much!
Yeah, Tartlete was LE, oops! Try Lychee Luxe instead, though 🙂
Beautiful! Those colors are perfect for say, a night out on some tropical island. 😉
Now, just give me that tropical island, and I will be set… 😉
Thanks, Trisha!
Really like this one, incl. the lips, even though I don’t like the lipstick, the lipglass makes it look lovely. 🙂
Thank you so much, Anitacska!! 🙂 Glad ya liked the lips this time around!
WOW! Gorgeous Christine. That blush looks like it was made for you!
Aww! Thanks, AbbyL 😀
This is gorgeous! I love greens and they go really well with the coral lips.
Thanks so much, Gio 😀
Gorgeous!
Thanks, Pizzicata 🙂
Christine, you look great with the fakes! Being a user of fakes for years, I have found that it is far easier to apply an eyelash if it is trimmed a bit. In your case, I can see in the 3rd and last pic that the eyelash might be a bit too long for your eye, thus making it a bit harder to maneuver it.
If you cut it down a bit (trim two little hairs on the inner corner) it will be easier to handle and to apply and it won’t pop up as much since the eyelash base does not curve like your own eyelid. Also, you might want to try a smaller angled out eyelash like the MAC Hello Kitty one, or the Ardell #301 or 305 .. I have been using the Ardell’s for daytime use and they are really easy to use and apply.
😀
Thanks for the advice, Izzy! 🙂 I think it’s more that it’s not quite placed perfectly (too far to the outer edge), since these have been trimmed down a bit already. Nonetheless, these got tossed already so I’m onto the next pair 🙂 (Otherwise I’d go to see!)
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hello gorgeous!
Thanks a ton, Mikki!
this is so great! love it!! thanks for saying what u use for foundation 🙂
Thanks, Charlene 🙂
Looks GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Rae 🙂
Pretty!
Thanks, Allison!
You are glowing! Christine, you are rocking with the summer look 😀
Thanks, Natalie 😉 It’s almost summer here, ha!
Oh pretty! Your lips look like the model’s in the picture for the Cremesheen lipstick ad (the one where she’s holding the telephone receiver)
Aww, thanks Sun 😀
I love this look–these are totally your colors. I also love your hair like that!
Thanks so much, Elle 🙂 Glad ya liked it!
This is kinda creepy…I was playing around with my M.U today and did a very similar look, xpt i used Bitter e.s over a white base thru the middle and end part of my mobile lid. The inner part of same lid had light green with matte yellow. Everything else was virtually similar with your end result!
Great minds think alike, Ivana 😉
Are you growing your hair out? I love it!
I’m trying, LOL!
Love the look but I’d try 36 lashes next time I think they’d suit your eyeshape and lashes better.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Those #7’s are looking mighty fine on you Christine 🙂
Thanks, Allysha 😉
Wow! I think i will have to buy those eyelashes. The last two looks with them look very good. And your hair is getting long, thats good. You look good with absolutely anything but long hair really suits you.
I find it difficult to put on false eyelashes though 🙁
Definitely get ’em! #7s are VERY popular 🙂
Thank you!
beautiful!
and i still want the brave new bronze.. ^-^
Thanks, Anna 🙂
I love this look. Really nice and bright! I love the way you have paired the greens with the blues. I’ve been thinking of getting Prussian for a while, so really cool to see it in some of your latest looks. What do you think of Atlantic Blue eyeshadow? I haven’t seen this eyeshadow before. Is it similar to any of the normal Mac eyeshadows (I think it’s a PRO product) or is it completely different? Thanks.
Thanks so much, Saira! I do love Prussian, and I also love Atlantic Blue. It is a PRO product, and nothing like it in the regular, permanent line at all!
aww man MAC has a kelly green pigment..that’s so cool. I can never find green that are bright enough for my liking but that one just may work. I love this look Christine, thanks for doing this one. 🙂
No problem!
Thanks, Bettina 🙂
I cannot find that kelly green pigment anywhere..it was from MAC right??
It’s PRO!
Where on earth or when I should say did MAC have that kelly green pigment? I can’t find it at all…but I love it.
Ooh I just recreated this look on myself and love it…don’t really like to wear greens to work but maybe on a day off I will do it again. 🙂
SO happy to hear it, Bettina!! I hope you give it another shot 🙂
I will Christine, I do greens on my days off. I work at Starbucks and since the aprons are green alot of times customers go oh how cute you matched your eyeshadow to your apron. Pfffft I don’t know what kind of a nerd they think I am but I was certainly not taking my apron into consideration when I did my make up that morning LOL… so it gets old.
Thanks, Bettina!
LOL! Aww. That’s so cute though 😉
Very cute! I’m looking for a St. Patrick’s Day look and I think this may be it!
Thank you, Nathalie! Hope it works out for ya!
You look lovely in this pair of falsies… This green and teal is a winner!
Thanks, Jesi!
