I am waffling between Velvet Intrigue and Fawn. I’d go with whichever is cooler, but every picture I see of them looks so different! In Lisa’s video she compared them and Fawn looked rosier than Intrigue, which I like, but I find her videos and photos to be off from my expectations. They’re definitely my favorite lipsticks, though. I was too late to grab a sample card but I looked at the full ingredients list and was pleased to see no oil or fragrance listed there. I have a foundation to get through, but I will keep this one in mind. Velvet Midnight and Velvet Myth are also in my wishlist cart!

Oh! And I know I’m late to say this, but it was SO exciting to see her use one of your Sydney Grace palettes! Not only was it cool to see you represented on her channel, knowing how hard you worked on it, I loved the shoutout to such a quality indie brand. 🙂

Velvet Blush Lightly is the only one I find interesting for me.
I have had such bad luck with my lipsticks from LD, I’ve broken three, maybe they’ve been too warm, I don’t know, generally I’m not heavy handed applying lipsticks, and after the first I’ve been very careful.
I do like the lipsticks, but I’m not sure I’ll buy any more, at least not this time.

I have no idea why her lipsticks pull so much darker and cooler on me than these photos!! Her lipsticks always pull taupier on my lips than in photos like this, maybe it’s from my lip color.

I was thinking velvet cinnabar looks exactly like mac’s marrakesh, and from comparing these pictures with temptalia’s review of mac marrakesh it is clear they are almost the same. I’ll stick with my beloved marrakesh. Thank you Christine!

I’m waiting to see dupes. I did get Velvet Cinnabar and love it! I just want to make sure I don’t have a dupe for Velvet Petal because I’m so tempted to get it.
