Lisa Eldridge Eyeshadow Palettes Launch November 11
Release Date + About the Launch
High performance, long-wearing powder eyeshadows in six signature finishes that are always flattering. From buttery Velvet to the smoothest, Seamless Matte imaginable.
Seamless Matte – A soft matte texture with a touch of luminosity that practically blends itself. Perfect for adding depth and dimension to the eye. Apply to the socket or lash line for a subtle day look or build for the full smokey effect..
Velvet – A super creamy matte powder paint that grips and adheres beautifully to the skin, with a smoothing finish and even coverage. Can be applied with fingers or a brush.
Luminous – A medium payoff, semi-transparent base that gives a light veil of colour. Apply with a light hand for a wash of luminosity, or with fingertips for an intense, glossy lid effect.
Metallic – A rich, even, and smooth shadow with consistently sized dense, metallic pearls for the most seamless application. Apply with fingers for full opaque, molten pay off, or apply as a wash with a brush.
Lustre – The densely packed, smooth and extra small pearls gives this texture a lustrous, pearly finish.
Top Coat – Multicoloured, sparkling pearls suspended in a transparent base. This minimal pigment formula is great for bringing light to the inner corner of the eye, or to add extra dimension or a more glamorous effect to the eye as a finishing touch.
Each shade is secured magnetically in the compact, with an easy pop-in and pop-out mechanism – allowing you to effortlessly interchange any shade between your Lisa Eldridge palettes or with the individual refills, to create your own bespoke collectible curation.

As most of mainstream launches, with rare exceptions, these are way too warm and way too deep for someone like me. This is very warm undertone targeted, which ends up too orange/red or too deep in cooler pallets here. And that being 6 palettes here. Sad to see, but I guess that is what sells (?).
Packaging is cute though
Interestingly, the number of cool colors appeals to me–3/5 palettes are cool. Personally I like the inclusion of at least one dark shade to use as eyeliner, and one can use a light hand for the others. I think these are promising, especially for travel.
I watched her video with swatches, the one that is with purple mates is way more warm than it is on the photo. No go for me, the neutral ones are red-ish/orange-ish, a no go for me (otherwise it is mud eyes)
The one with greens, green part of it is cute, but I think these shades of green will complement warmer complections more. So it leaves vega, with only deep shade being black, which is an absolute no go for me, even more than oranges and reds.
So in the end it is two palettes, targeted to ladies with warmer complection.
I actually found video with more swatches from her, and it is even more evident that it will work gorgeously for warm toned ladies, but sadly not for somebody like me 😅
But it is just my opinion, I am sure a lot of people will enjoy it
Oh I love Lisa’s videos and would like to try some of her products. The Vega palette looks like one I would love, and both Myth and Sorcery have some lovely colors.
Have never purchased any Eldridge products, maybe one of these will be a first.. I’m eyeballing the mauves
She sure knows her way around a color story, doesn’t she? Interested to see how they perform, Muse and Sorcery are particularly appealing to me.
Vega and Myth immediately caught my attention but at $70 each, I’m only picking up one.
After watching Lisa Eldridge’s video on YT, I am tempted by Myth and by the new True Velvet lipstick shade in Pompadour. Will see…
I like that you can buy the e/s individually and replace one or more shades from the palette purchased in order to customize it. The fact that there are little holes on the back of the compact underneath each e/s, makes it easier to pop out the shades with a pin. I would have loved though to have the option to purchase a larger empty compact so as to customize it with the shades of my choosing.
That’s exactly how I’m feeling about this launch. If I couldn’t recreated one of these with one or two different shades – it’s exactly the size and quality I’m looking to buy at the moment.
I think after the holidays at least one beauty influencer will be looking to offload the palette and will sell it empty cheaper. Then I can fill it myself armed with holiday tested wear reviews haha.
Or at least that’s my argument to stick to my low buy.
These eyeshadow palettes look interesting – I don’t think you have reviewed the brand’s eye palettes for quite some time. I like the way that there are quite a few colour choices and variations to choose from too. I hope these review well.
These are the first eyeshadows for the brand.
Lisa has not yet made palettes! These are her first
YES PLEASE! I CAN’T WAIT TO PICK UP ONE OR TWO OF THESE.. I’VE GOT MY EYE ON MUSE & CINNABAR!
These sure do seem to be promising, as Lisa Eldridge is extremely attuned to putting together color combos that fit today’s makeup and beauty aesthetic.
I watched Lisa’s video premiering this collection and it looks AMAZING!
The pigment, the payoff, the intensity, the blendability, zero fallout, well chosen, gorgeous, versatile shades that go from glam to everyday – just perfection!
I love that all the shades are available for individual purchase and you can mix and match your own palette if desired.
I am certain this collection will be sold out in minutes.
Sigh…
I like the first two, but $68.00 is pretty steep for these small palettes.
These looked absolutely stunning in the video reveal, and I love that she’s already got singles ready to go because she’s thinking about it from the perspective of building a custom “kit” that’s flexible and practical, where the most-used shades can be replaced. I have more eyeshadows than I need by this point, so I won’t be picking these up on launch, but I’m really impressed on first viewing! It helps that the packaging and color stories are gorgeous, as well.
Saw her announcement on IG and I figure you’d feature it quickly!
Christine, do you expect to review the new ethereal eyes eyeshadow palette from Mario? Seems like it could be a good one for the holidays.
Thanks!
I really appreciate the system she’s worked out for shadows and palettes. I’m not really in the market for any palettes like this right now but I’ll probably check out some singles at some point, the colors imo are pretty on the nose for what they are, I don’t quite see the nuance she expresses in the video she intended personally. So when I need a new taupe I know she has one I can try, if that makes sense.
I purchased Cinnabar and picked up older products, Dance Card Lipstick and Zora Liquid Lurex Eyeshadow. I’ve been working through my stash but it seemed like a good moment to go for it. Can’t wait! I do wish she had imagery of arm swatches of the eyeshadows though. I probably would have picked up more of the singles but got tired of scrubbing the video to look for them.
After watching her video i’m like help I want all the eyeshadow palettes. Her color stories and sense of texture are phenomenal and I love the thoughtful design. I think they look simply gorgeous swatched and in the video. But I want to see swatches and reviews from other people.
Realistically Cinnabar might be too warm for my skin tone (though the contrast would be great with my blue eyes so maybe I want it anyways). I also worry some would be too deep for me to use (curse my deep-set eyes) but, in her video, it seemed like it was fairly easy to control the depth and I think I’m fine with grabbing one or two pale girl shadows from another palette.
Can I put eye/face primer directly on the application sponge for a longer time (no fading or creasing)???
I immediately thought, she’s done a few of Fenty’s line of eye shadows, but better! However, at $70, nah!
